Best of both worlds:Analog/Digital MIDI Synced + Hardware/Software

Thanks to the @ToneLab I was able to understand how to MIDI Sync various devices up. In this case, the MPC Key 61 & the SP-1200 SE were use with the @EASKI_ Cassette USB the revise and improve the Boom Bap track!

hey dope stuff, it looks like its just running out of a drum program on your mp though? It doesnt appear to be using midi as a trigger since it isnt a midi track. Or is the melody the midi? Just trying to see if I can improve what im doing as im also trying to use modern mpc to trigger my older drum machine as one source and my asr 10 as another.

Melody played in KEY61…Currently using USB MIDI Sync….I do sync with MIDI Cable as well 🫡💯

@@DJDoubleEdge interesting ill have to look into how that works, I currently just use the midi cables to the other machines and make a midi track. Then trigger the hits in mpc or the other gear and record the sequence playing them back in real time.
It just looked different cause normally I have to make a "midi program" to trigger rather then what appears to be a drum program for your drums shown here so I didnt know if there is a different method.
Is there a tone lab link for the method you are using also?
