Congratulations Mitch! You are doing great by your audience and why shouldn’t your hard work lead you to opportunities and fun! Enjoy it and make it your own.
Hey Mitch, great video! Really enjoying your channel. I have a 2017 BMC Roadmachine, he’s called Stelios. I came across your channel a couple of years ago when I searched RUclips for content on Roadmachines, whilst looking for ways to upgrade my bike. Since then, I have taken your advice and purchased a Fiz’ik saddle, Assioma powermeter pedals, a Garmin Varia (which has probably saved me from an accident or two) and subscribed to MyVeloFit to make it all work together. Despite this financial outlay, my wife is still talking to me. 😂 Thank you for all your videos so far, they are great to watch over here in a very wet and windy Scotland. Good luck with everything in the future. 👍
The cleat position observation is very interesting. I recently had a bike fit that went quite well, and improved my position on the bike, but my physical therapist who is the head of the practice I go to was skeptical and wanted to have his in-house bike-qualified PT vet it, and while she accepted all the bike fitter's recommendations on bars, stem, seat position etc., she made exactly the same observation about my cleat position as happened to you...and in addition thought the Q factor needed to increase a touch. So far, so good. Surprising really, I didn't realize that cleats could be used to lead the hips to a new position.
In cycling nothing beats the feeling than riding something that you actually really enjoy. I recently bought a Wilier, and it oozes quality, feel, comfort, speed, for me it looks incredible and it's red (which means it is already fast). Just having that feeling alone makes me want to go out more, do more challenges, conquer more goals. And see more of my surroundings. So for that alone, the bike is perfect for me
I love the approach of Ritte that when you’re spending that much why shouldn’t it be how you want or need it fit wise. I wish more would offer fit point free adjustments like crank length, stem and bar size etc.
@@JBmadera yeah that new purple and gold really pops in person, but between you and me (and everyone else reading this 😅), the raw carbon is still my favorite. Congrats on the new bike!

I'm getting to demo one right now while my bike is in the shop waiting on parts. Coming from a pinarello paris, so definitely a step up. Only 22 miles in, after I get a few hundred I'll try to remember to update this comment.
Regarding chain drops... your from from derailer is probably 5mm above the largest ring where Sram recommends 1-2mm. I had issues with my Sram force dropping chains even when using the Sram setup tool, where after manual adjustment to 1-2mm and enduinf limiters are correct, no more dropped chains.
Psychological doping, got me good as well as the extra 20 watts from the uncalibrated power meter. Not having to buy the bike fully stock makes so much sense if you want another saddle etc. Sounds like a great bike and company

Hey Mitch, nice Bike! Hold on before you upgrade the chain ring. You actually have the same high gear with your current sram setup (46/10 = 4,6) as with your old shimano (50/11 = 4,55)
Yep! that was the original chainring, but when I upgraded I put a 52/36 on it and rode it for about a year and a half. The only time it was an issue was when I went to New Zealand, but I’m (I think/hope) much stronger now than I was in that video

I've always loved the look of the Rittes but haven't ever owned one. (I've owned about 400 to 500 bikes in my life... mostly carbon road bikes... of all makes and models... but plenty of alloy, titanium, steel frames as well.) I was chatting with a cycling acquaintance on a group ride last weekend and he was on a new bike and I asked him about it and he told me that his last bike--which had a Ritte stainless steel frame--had broken... and Ritte wouldn't warranty the frame... so he bought a different make and model this time. I assumed that the frame broke at one of the welds... which is typically the break point on alloy, titanium, and steel framed bike. But he said No--it broke in the middle of a stainless steel tube... not at a weld. Which blew my mind. He didn't wreck it... didn't abuse it... he's just an average rider... doesn't race or anything. He's not particularly large / fat / tall / etc. So there is NO reason that stainless frame should have broken under normal riding conditions. But it did. And the best Ritte was willing to offer him was a discount on a new frame. And we're not talking about 50% off or something... more like 25%. Which I thought was pretty shitty.
Bro is selling Ritte hard lol. I think its floating up hills because your way lighter and fitter lol. Plus your Kit fits really good and areo now. Glad you got all these sponsors congrats.
For the race jerseys I have from both, I found MAAP fabric to be softer and more stretchy than Attaquer, which I found to be kind of stiffer if that’s the right word. I prefer the Attaquer for that aspect but I ride both.
I think the The Race and All Day lines from Attaquer are a step above what I’ve worn from a certain other brand 😉 the long sleeve winter jersey is warm but doesn’t make me sweat as much, and the race jersey and bibs are very comfortable with a good amount of compression. The all day bibs have a bit more compression and I think I actually like them a tiny bit more than the race bibs.

Hey so I'm ten minutes into this bike review, and you haven't mentioned a single feature about this bike, what makes it good, or even what you like about it. Geo, frame weight, etc?...So far it has been extremely vague and meaningless words like "fun" and how comfortable it is, but isn't that just fit dependent?... Anyways, I don't leave many negative comments, but this isn't a bike review.. I don't know what this is, but it's not useful to me and I can't continue watching..??
Hey dude, appreciate the feedback. Ben Delaney and outdoorbros each made excellent reviews of the Ritte Esprit. I highly recommend them, and thanks for watching a little bit!

My theory is that you, gc performance and David Arthur were separated at birth.
😂
🤣😂
What the fuq hahaha
That’s the first time I heard of a DI2 glitch. Well, I think I’m sticking to 105 mechanical for a while longer.
once eventually i get the budget; and need a new bike, this would almost defenetely be the company i would buy from (as a belgian i am almost obligated lol)
😂
It's a Cervelo R5
Holds its speed 😉
good call.
I wonder if ppl have been asking Pantani or Roglic about climbing on drops... who cares, honestly.
Hi Mitch I've watched a few of your videos and recently subscribed. I would like more information about brand sponsorship, how do you apply or approach sponsors? What criteria do they use? And how would I be able to qualify? I am big on Instagram but not so much on RUclips.
whoa it moves when pedaling, and turns and rides. neat. i wish my bike did that.
one cannot simply have one bike
Whoo sub-16lbs - that's a light bike.
Haha 😂😂😂 forgot to calibrate pwr mtr. I know that must have been sad!
It was a roller coaster of emotions 😂

RUclips now
🔥🔥🔥🔥
It’s a paid advert.
look like orbea orca m30 :o
Honestly, 1000 miles is not enough for a review, it's first impression, because you can't have experienced all possible on the bike, and you can't know, how durable any of the components are
Guess I'll have to make another "long-term" review in a year :)
Here for this..
great stuff 😗🤌
