He was a fine bowler in his day and he is now a fine commentator. His playing career was tragically short, too many injuries, but I hope his commentating career has heaps more longevity.
No. He sounds forced and self-conscious and when he was in Antigua things were made worse by a co-commentator who spoke in unpleasant shotgun blasts. There were several complaints about Bishop. Listen to the Jamaican commentary from Sabina and you will hear what good commentary sounds like
