@@tambettammisto7423 I don't think so, once a poisoned enters your blood stream there's no point. This scene gives the vibes of a character ending , usually when a character get stabbed like this it's the end but this is kiryu the main character he can't die
If you ever feel yourself having the worst day of your life, just remember that Kiryu was trying to alleviate his aching heart with a wet cigarette, and get stabbed by some nobody at the same time.

Yo imma be real. No one excepted that Kiryu is gonna be stabbed by a homeless guy and seeing Kiryu taking out the knife is somehow oddly satisfying since remember. HE DOESN’T DIE FOR SOME REASON AND BEATING AT LEAST 500000 people after that
the reason the stabber ran wasn't because he didn't wanted the police to arrest him, it was because he though kiryu was gonna get up and beat the crap outta him
Ngl, I had a thought that made this scene even sadder. I thought that he pulled out the lighter he bummed from Nishiki WAYYYY back in 0. But looking back, Nishiki had a flip lighter.
I actually noticed that too. Most of the yakuza in this game use a flip lighter but kiryu uses this cheap dollar store lighter. If he had the flip one he could have lit his cigarette in the rain xD
I like it, but it just doesn't feel right somehow. Like, even removing the music would improve the scene for me. A version of the scene without the song or the stab sound effect would be perfection! But maybe I'm just a hater 😅
I need new Yakuza games to start adding weather. There's no reason for a game with such a small map compared to open world games not have a proper day and night cycle and weather system. Rain often enhances games to me.
The Yakuza games usually don't do that because they use the weather and time of day as part of the story, so if it changed randomly it would be kinda jarring. They focus more on detail than size or features
@@obscurereference2359 They've rarely used weather as part of the story, lets be honest. In all their games it has barely rained for the story. Also I never understood that logic, Spider-Man fanboys say the same for their game. But the story part plays a cutscene. If it's never raining in the game and suddenly rain happens in the cutscene why can't it simply be raining before the cutscene in the game as well? There's no real logic behind not having it.
