JO MALONE VELVET ROSE & OUD REVIEW: CAN IT BE CONSIDERED A DUPE OF MFK OUD SATIN MOOD?

- I'm reviewing Jo Malone's Velvet Rose & Oud and comparing it to Maison Francis Kurkdijan's Oud Satin Mood. They smell similar in my opinion and also have similar notes as well. I hope this video will be helpful and thank you for watching!
***FYI: I forget to mention in the video that both fragrances are considered as unisex. Also when getting the screenshots for this video, I noticed that all of the luxury retailers like Neiman's, Saks, Nordstrom, etc, and the Jo Malone website only have the bigger 3.4 oz bottles available for $220.00. So that probably means that the 1.7 oz size that I have in the video will also be getting phased out along with the old packaging. I have a feeling that's why both sizes are sold out on Sephora. So if you like buying smaller bottles like I do, I would try to get one if you can find it somewhere cause they may have stopped production of them. Even my beloved fragrancenet.com is showing the 3.4 oz as the only option available lol 😭😭😭🤦🏽♀️😒😩

People sleep on velvet rose and oud. Never realized how similar they are. I don’t own OSM but I remember it being pretty strong

What is the body wash and body oil like? Less potent than the perfume?
They smell pretty strong when I’ve tested them in stores, but I’ve never used them on a day to day basis. I usually come to find that perfumed body washes don’t last as long for me. Of course, it could be different for everyone else. Body oils usually are more potent because of the oils hold the scent longer. I always recommend getting the fragrance first if possible, but if you want to get a feel for the fragrance and save a little money, a body care product is a good starting point.
