    wonderful video thanks 🙏 what does “to reach conversational fluency” mean please
    does that mean the conversation is smooth in different kind of topics? we can express his opinions and disagreement in hot topic like politics,works,daily life but basic things?

      Conversational fluency in my opinion is being able to have a conversation about pretty much anything, you might lack some vocabulary but you're able to communicate well anyway

    Im on day 12 of learning mandarin. I do 3 hours everyday using resources like anki, super Chinese, tutors, hsk books, podcast and books so i hope this is the right steps. Also what day in your language journey did you see the most progress ! Or I should ask when did you realize you were able to understand movies and tv shows. Im still nowhere good enough to even understand peppa pig 😢 i want to be fluent so bad 😔

      Sounds great! Keep it up! At 3 hours a day a rough estimate would probably be after 6 months to a year you might start being able to understand a bit of native content, just keep doing what you're doing and you'll definitely get there!

    Hi Will! When you were first starting out, were you listening to podcasts that you could not understand?

    • @willhartmandarin
      @willhartmandarin  9 месяцев назад +1

      I tried to listen to podcasts that I could understand at least 80% of. Hope that helps!
