This is an absolutely gorgeous, inspired and inspiring work. I'm always delighted to discover and experience a major Reger opus. and this one is a real winner, especially in a performance as accomplished as this one. of course I don't know the text, but I'm sure the emotion contained in the music elicited a response that is appropriate and deeply felt.
