Congratulations on the work project coming to fruition. I know how that feels. I have several projects starting to come to an end in the next few months. Mine are more equipment design related, but I know the feeling.
You said the term Ghost Kitchen. I never heard that before. What does that mean? I could probably Google it, but I'll ask you.
You may have answered this in this vlog, but I was going to ask you if I was to start a series what would you recommend? The problem I've had is if I start a series and one of the books is not good, I'll loose interest and end up not finishing it.
A ghost kitchen is one of those restaurants that’s on the apps (like postmates or Grubhub) but doesn’t actually exist in real life and is just operating out of another kitchen. Sometimes other restaurants will have a “ghost kitchen” (so for example a Japanese sit-down restaurant also cooks burgers as a ghost kitchen to sell on the apps) or there are also tons of facilities that have 5-6 ghost kitchens inside it and the people driving for the apps just pick up from a warehouse of sorts. It’s sort of strange, but some decent food is made out of them!
Oooh, definitely tough based on what you typically like to read. I haven’t read them yet but I’ve been highly considering reading either the Holly Gibney series by Stephen king or the bill Hodges trilogy also by him. I’ve heard great things! I also loved re-reading Harry Potter and one of my all-time favorite series was game of thrones (although I know the show exists too). I hope that helps!
@@jessicacapo Thanks for the ghost kitchen description. That makes sense. That is a good idea for restaurants to fill the slow times.
I typically read mysteries or historical novels, but I'm open to try something else. Not into fantasy much, but science fiction is good. Stephen King would probably be a good choice. I'll check out the ones you mentioned. Thank you.
@don-dspid2404 definitely! And if you haven’t read nightingale already I do love that story, it’s more focused around two sisters during WW2 but such an amazing book (although not a series)
