I saw the video of this performance before they let it be known that it was about them breaking up and even though I didn't know that they were actually talking to one another, the emotions that they showed as they performed this song convinced me that the pain they were rapping about was absolutely real. Then I found out that the ones that broke their hearts so badly were each other and the other members and it made me cry. Knowing it's a break up song is one thing. Knowing that it's about BTS breaking up and that the idea of it hurt them this badly...It just shows how much they truly love one another.
