Wouldn't call them tiny, they're CF6-80C2's which produce up to almost 63,000 Ibs of takeoff thrust. Really in the mid-high category when compared to the 29,000 Ibs of the 737 Max's CFM LEAP-1B's or the top end with the 777's monster GE90-115B's with up to 115,000 Ib's.
My dad says that Airbus's Beluga jet looks a plane with hydrocephalus, if only it _could_ actually carry that much water in there which I'm sure would make it virtually impossible to fly. But it's impressive that the Beluga can fly at all given how small its wings are!
Yes, and I think an empty A320 can fly for a lot longer, like 8 hours if I remember correctly. So an A350 could possibly fly directly to its destination. ^^
@@WesW3187 it stands for "new engine option", which is where Airbus changes the engine type(s) of an existing aircraft to improve things like efficiency and range. Examples: A320ceo (which stands for current engine option) to A320neo, A330ceo to A330neo
The neo aircraft also come with slight modifications other than the engines, like modified winglets. The newer ones also usually come with Airbus' racoon mask around the cockpit windscreens
Is incredible how those two tiny engines can pull up that big beluga aircraft anyway that plane looks cute. 🌼

4:00 It's so unusual seeing the A350 without its distinctive "raccoon" mask

In A320N? That stands for A320neo
@@wmx7588 What does ‘neo’ mean in aeronautical terms? Thanks for answering. 🙂.
