Great video as usual 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. I got into using the shuttle pro with the jog wheel and buttons so I can move clips/notes etc. around really quickly and precisely- and assign hot keys. I then added an Elgato Stream Deck to assign a few dozen more hot keys for easy one-button pressing that really speeds up workflow. For example : to move all in a clip notes up one octave I just click in the (piano roll) area and press a button labeled “select all” and then press one of the next button over which are “octave up” and “octave down”.
Great video, shortcuts are so important in all programs for quick effective sessions.

@@jackc8120 I did the 3 month free trial Ableton offers and right away i knew it was for me.. i was instantly hooked and havent gone back to Logic ever since.
Now i understand what people meant when they talk about the workflow. thats what really did it for me. the workflow

Will you rock, man i love your shortcut PDF and the fact that i can just download it without creating an account like everyone else is pushing these freaking accounts and subscriptions down your throat. Hi, is there a way to scrub the audio in Ableton using the left/right arrow keys? Just like how we scrub thru video/audio footage in FCPx, frame by frame to get the exact spot we wanna cut/edit. Appreciate your time on this.

Anyone know a command to duplicate a whole 4/8 bars in the middle of am arrangement ? I find inserting silence then trying to copy all and paste a pain when have lots of tracks and groups.
Think you want 'duplicate time' which is ctrl+shift+d

Control + T to insert audio track
Control + Shift + T to insert midi track
Alt + Control + T to insert aux channel
Control + Shift + M to create midi clip
0 to mute/deactivate a clip
Control + L to select loop
B to toggle draw mode
Control + Z to undo
Control + Shift + Z to redo
Hold Shift to adjust in smaller increments
Control + F to Search
Control + Alt + B to toggle browser on/off
Shift + Space to play from where it stopped
Alt + Space to play from playhead
Control + A to select everything
Shift + Up to Notes up 1 octove ( and vice versa)
Control + R to rename clip/track
Control + 1 to tighten grid lines
Control + 2 to expand grid lines
Control + 3 to grid triplets
Control + 4 to turn grid off
Control + click + drag to move off grid
Control + J to make multiple clips into one
Control + E to split clip
Control + D to duplicate clip
Control + G to group devices
Control + shift + G to ungroup
Control + K to program keyboard commands
