Omg I cry everytime seeing Jake come through the door , viki sees him & just loses it & megan thinks she's dreaming its Jake & when she realizes it's him I just cant. It's so so sad.
Yes, I have seen that movie. That's another tearjerker. A while my husband and I were watching the movie on HBO. He then told me it was 1st time watching the film. Needless to say at the end of the movie he had tears in his eyes.
VRC, those scenes move everyone. I remember making my friend watch OLTL the day Megan died. She wasn't and an OLTL viewer but she had tears in her eyes at the end of that episode.
Jessica Tuck wow...what an amazing performance. This whole scene was equivalent if not better then dying scenes on the big screen. Wow Megan’s death could never be replicated like this...just brilliance and Heart breaking...standing ovations all around, for real...
When Megan died, so did "One Life to Live"... The show was never the same again to me. Although Viki, the Lords and the Buchanans were still there... the Woleks faded away, joining the Craigs, the Grays, the Vernons, the Rileys and the Siegels. All those standalone characters like Marco, Ed, Edwina, Ina, Kat, Pat, Herb, Mimi, Chuck, Delila... never made a reprise (and if they did it was for one episode). I was sad that though the producers believed in what they were doing in revisiting a week's worth of memories (because they had to watch them in order to familiarize themselves with the show), they never drew upon those legacy characters and moments to tell the new stories going forward - we got a whole slew of new characters and families - and though the diversity in them was familiar to OLTL's theme, and were exciting - it would have been nicer if their stories had been told through the old characters.
I actually think it started when Jensen left but Jessica leaving was the nail in the coffin. It makes you wonder what they would have done with Megan and Jake had Jessica not left because Joe Lando was cast for Dr. Quinn in early 93. I hated Marty and Nora.
@@zt1053I don’t understand why they had to kill her off if Joe was leaving as well unless he was taken off why didn’t they just have Jake and Megan leave together.
@@suzannec8400 Jessica left for primetime series and films but there was not anyting in the works at the time of her leaving. She acted constantly but didn't get cast on a show that was successful till 7 years later with Judging Amy which was a supporting role. Sometimes her character would only be in one scene or not in the episode at all. As an acress she should have known there are no guarantees for any possible new projects she had in the works and left the door open to play Megan again if her futute endeavors didn't work out. The actress who played Nora tried a primetime series but left the door open for Nora to come back. At the end of 92 Sarah was killed where she could never came back and in early 93 Guiding Light killed Maureen where she could never return. Probably the 3 most costly soap deaths in the span of a year.
bellissimo video.Sicuro che non sia mai stata trasmessa OLTL in Italia?Sono passati molti anni, ma mi pare di ricordare sulle reti private Una vita da vivere.Forse sbaglio
Thanks for posting...one of the GREATEST love stories of soaps. Loved the way so many people were connected to their story.

That was awesome! Thanks 4 posting! Those scenes still make me cry.
I was so angry when she died!! They had one of my favorite soap love stories, and it seems like it was over way too soon.
