- Here is the entire discography of the band Klaatu, from the year 1973 to 2005. There may be some information that are inaccurate or I may have miss some rarities coming from the Sun Set/Solology album. Klaatu are John Woloschuk, Dee Long and Terry Draper.
This video includes some rarities and unofficial releases that have not been made official by the band but has been found somewhere around the web. So credits to Steve Teague from Facebook/Soundcloud where I managed to found some tracks from their short lived-tour in 1981/1982. And also credits to Paul Jackson for the 2005 KlaatuKon reunion performance photos pulled off from klaatu.org
Special thanks to the late Ted Jones who designed all Klaatu front and back album covers (except Sir Army Suit, which was designed by Hugh Syme), John Jones (who was involved in the production of the Magentalane album and their 1988's single Woman), Jaimie Vernon (the president of Bullseye Records, and the footage for Hot Box City live 1981) and Terry Brown (the producer of 3:47 EST, Hope and Sir Army Suit) and Christopher Bond (the producer for Endangered Species). But most of all, huge thanks to John Woloschuk, Dee Long and Terry Draper for making music we know and love today.

ATTENTION KLAATU FANS: Today the Klaatu Discord server made a massive breakthrough, although I heard it's been common knowledge that we now have 3 sets of Klaatu performing live! (1981-1982). I managed to claim 1 full concert from a FM broadcast, and 2 partial sets from 1981 (Soundboard Recording) and now it's here for you guys to hear it!

WOW, thank you VERY much for the link ! I read somewhere that 1 Klaatu show was broadcasted on the radio and I couldn't find anything on the internet about it, not even a date of the concert. It made me wonder "somebody out there MUST have a recording of it"...

Although they come from another continent, I keep my Klaatu albums right next to my Beatles albums. They've earned that right, I think.

You made the best video ever!!! I'm using a translator to write this, I was a fan of klaatu 2 years ago, I started listening to all his discography (which I loved). I was looking for the Sun Set Volume 2 to albums that never came out on spotify (like Solology) or singles like Woman. Thank you for taking the time to find pieces that never came to light and are now buried in the official Klaatu pages (great page) Does anyone here know the pyramid that inspired the Sun Set? I think it's somewhere in Canada (Klaatu's page with the photos of it doesn't give me that much information) If anyone knows where it is, could you leave it in a comment? Thank you very much

There was a person on Facebook who happened to have some songs from Nov 11 1981, and another one from 1982 which is a radio broadcast.
I got Mr Manson, Hot Box City, Older, Sub Rosa Subway (Nov 11 1981), We're Off You Know and Hope (1982 FM broadcast) and it's all in this video.

I am a bit surprised that Terry Draper wasn’t the most active songwriter, but I guess he’s (more or less) the only one who still is into music and recording albums. Got some of them, not to the highest Klaatu standard, but enough klaatu-ish to be really enjoyable.
Look also for a video where Terry listens to Calling Occupants and sharing his memories with us - FANTASTIC!

Well done. My label re-issued he entire catalogue from 2001 thru 2009 - including the Sunset and Solology and Raarities collections. Love how you edited the variations together. Great work! PS - Where did you get the live club footage of the band at the end of the video? Even the band members don't have a copy of that.
I got the live club footage from the official Klaatu website thru the Super8 Movie Film. Then I just try to fit the songs in the video.
