Happier than ever was just a perfect masterpiece made by Billie and Finneas, it’s just built so beautifully amazing
if drivers license doesn’t win song of the year it’s gonna cause huge commotion tbh. no song had as big of an impact as it did this year and it came out in january so that’s saying a lot. the fact that it was a debut song and still everybody stopped and talked about it for weeks? and not as important, but how commercially successful it was? that’s song of the year right there. (Also, forgot to mention this, but the critical acclaim it got? Insane.)
No Kiss Me More by Doja Cat feat SZA was best song of the year and one of the best songs of the decade so far so hush
I hate Olivia Rodrigo but I do agree popularity wise it should win song of the year

Idk about the popularity but i liked kiss me more, more than driver's license...that was one of the more mediocre songs (for me) out of sour and the kiss me more production is just another level

@@agnusredel3709 I mean that's completely subjective. Besides, Ajay actually still enjoyed most of L+F. And since Ancient Dreams is generally believed to be an even stronger album, I'm sure she'll enjoy listening to it if she does. As I said in a reply, she prob is just busy and films reactions to only the most popular artists atm.

Note: I know wildest dreams are a re-recorded track but I think it deserves a place in this list because this version really let me appreciate the song even more, especially, the idea that dreams have always an end and that the good things sometimes stay in the impossibility of them... It resonated with me thoroughly.
Chemtrails the track is one of those songs that are timeless for me. Beautiful vocals, production, melody and lyrics! And there is something about the overall vibe of it... So calm but at the same time so strange and wild... One of Lana's best songs, hands down!
I didn't expect a punk rock song (bite me) to make the list but Avril delivered and I actually got to begin immersing into her Discography. The song powerful, vibey, love her attitude and vocal delivery!
Anxiety by JVKE... this song so relatable!!! And the way the song was executed is so creative, it was impressive. His last release my favorite of him yet.
Again, Lana Del Rey with Nectar of The Gods. This song is so deep, so melancholic, so bittersweet. Once you're found and suddenly you're just lost in this cruel world... Love everything about it.
Summer Love and It'll Be Okay by Shawn Mendes are too complete opposite tracks: lyrically, melodically, sonically and vocally. Both of them convey the emotions that he wants to express and I feel like these songs have made me like Shawn's music more. He delivered.
Empty by Bebe Rexha. This song is one of those when you come to the studio and just release your pain, your intense emotions - all of you - I can hear it all over the place. This song really takes me to a lot of places and it deserves a place in this list.
Oh My God by Adele is really Oh My God Adele!!! Love the vibe of it; the honesty, the awareness, the power in her vocals and lyrics. Yes!
Pretty by Astrid S and Dagny. This song came late this year, 10th of December, and is a pure pop song. I actually didn't think this track would make me come back to it but actually I have and a significant amount of times. The melody, the instrumentation, the play with the instrumentation in certain parts of the song, love it!!! Especially when it all strips down - it hits you in a graceful way!

Nectar of the gods is like a decade old babes, not new.
