Fake Love was written and first performed when BTS were going through a really tough time. There was a lot going on for them and you can see that in the emotion. It is also one of the most physically demanding choreographies. You can see that often in the behind the scenes videos of the concerts. It is also so symbolic.... JK shirt and Jimin mannequin drop are so iconic too.
There is a video of Jomin’s shoe comes untied in the very beginning of this video - it was a practice and he is bent over still dance and ties his shoe and end up exactly where he should be. A true professional. 💜
Jungkook’s button wouldn’t stay done up at the first performance of Fake Love at the first 8:08 Permission to Dance concert in the USA. He was desperately trying to hold it together but we saw a lot more than we should have. They had to give him a different jacket for the next night. Asking me to choose my favourite dance practice is like asking me to choose my favourite child but here goes. War of Hormone, which is totally chaotic. It’s the one in the BigHit dance studio. It’s also good to see them practicing from scratch so ON where choreographer, Sienna Lalau works with them and the one from the Butter Grammy performance where they’re without J-Hope and Jungkook prior to leaving for the States. Happy 2025 to you.

Do you realize that there must be variations of choreography for any song they perform live, in order to suit various venues? I would imagine that must often be learned very quickly. How confusing that must be; it shows their highly developed concentration. It's amazing really to see that they very rarely make mistakes.

I personally like the original version with Jimin as lead, whose popularity made Fake Love and many other iconic performances famous. The person who wrote the song just wanted Jimin to do Fake Love but was turned down.

my top three favorite choreos from bts are on, black swan, and run bts but all of their choreos are top notch

I’ve seen clips of them making last minute adjustments. They’re very cute when they make a mistake and of course J-Hope has seen it.
Apparently there are 30 different performances of Dynamite alone, it would be interesting to see what the differences are in each performance.
