6 year Planetside 2 vet here if anyone wants to know more. Love this game and want to see it grow. The game is going through a renaissance with large regular content updates and plenty of new players.
I wish there was a mod for planetside which exchanged two factions for zerg and protoss units... or maybe generally a SC fps... feels like there is a ... "ghost" in the room Kappa. Liked and commented.
I have fun with it! I was one of those galaxy pilots for this fight, and usually enjoy flying when Winter pulls the bastion. Most of the game is massive scale FPS though, vehicles and aircraft are usually limited.
Planetside is definitely fun. The problem for a lot of new players though, is that they get farmed by the veteran players. And getting into the community.
I started a couple of days ago in EU Server. It's good fun and honestly, if you take More of a battlefield approach to it, it's not too hard to get into IMO
I've been playing since beta and can say Planetside is an awesome fricking game. It can be dauting for new players, but there are plenty of outfits (in game communities) that are easy to join, and there are plenty of veteran players to show you the ropes. I urge you to give it an honest shot. Just realize the first few hours will be figuring out base layouts and what classes/vehicles excel in certain situation. I'm a Terran Republic fan boy, but I respect if you wanna play untrustworthy separatists or cultist fanatics lol. Good luck!
It’s an open world game with 3 factions! Basically the main focus of the game is to control as much territory. When one faction captures a certain amount of territory it triggers an alert that starts a timer to try and capture or hold the most territory till the alert ends! Many different ground vehicles, air vehicles and classes you can play. Great game 😁
