5 years ago at my lowest point RUclips recommend me this song and changed my life. I close my eyes and everything is fine. Still up to this day, it's my favorite song.
Reading through the comments I realized I had a totally different view of the meaning of this song. For me, it's about an unrealistic dream about someone or something that won't come true no matter what. And at the moment you think it is real, you realize it is just a dream, it's fake, and you have to get out of that fake dream and return back to reality. For me this song doesn't have any hope in it, it is the opposite: it's desperation and frustration after realizing that what you wished and hoped for is not real and will never be.

This makes me hope. Hope that one day the world will stop and everyone will look into the beauty of life and existence. This song captures my emotions and takes my breath away. It perfectly portrays the need for us to look around, dream and drift into a considerate, peaceful way of life. Most of all it makes me love everyone and everything around me. To me this song carries this hope and now i think everything in my life is worth every minute...

... I miss Lori so goddamn much... She left me, and I know I deserved it. I wasn't abusive or angry with her, didn't lock her away from the world... But there was something missing from the usual bright and loving look she had... I was told to get out and move in with my mother who lived in Missouri. She said it was cheaper that way, to move back to Ohio... I believed her. Because she wouldn't lie to me.
