I LOVE how in this MAP ya show Crookedstar mourning Silverstream death with Greystripe. Like I so wished this happen in the books and described it so beautifully like Greystripe leaning against Crookedstar to cry, him looking shock and realized their similarity in they lost someone they love and both crying together! Its just too beautiful! Well done!

i dont support rainflowers actions but i think she disowned crookedkit because she thought he was going to die as he could barely eat and she didnt want to get attached to a kit that was going to die

Crookedstar’s promise and his story in the first few books were always my favorite, he faced so many challenges and losses in his life, from loosing his mothers love to his own wife and children, even his brother. I see so few maps for crookedstar and I’m glad there’s more being contributed💕 crookedstar is one of my absolute favorite leaders in the whole series and I’m so glad we can see more animations about him. Amazing work to everyone who contributed !
I started crying at the part where he stares at his reflection in the puddle for the first time. 1:19 The scar.... 3 weeks ago I passed out and bit through my lip and now I have a scar just like that. And I’m already self conscious about my appearance... and because of it, it’s gotten worse. Crookedstar is my favorite and that scene just was too touching for me. I remember staring at myself in the mirror, a gash wide open and gushing blood. I had 6 stitches outside and 2 inside my lip. And now I have this ugly scar that’s sensitive and numb. Seeing that scene just made me see myself. I have jaw issues too, oddly enough. I feel alone and not alone all at the same time
This MAP is one of my favorites. The song is bittersweet but also soft and soothing, and perfectly shows Crookedstar's growth. The animation is beautiful and fits in well with it. Overall a great video. Good job!

I've been made aware of this, and I've tried to contact the animator via the comment section. Haven't heard a reply back yet, but seeing as the MAP has been completed already, I don't intend to make a fuss over it. Thank you for your concern!
Oh man, I totally missed that. I feel terrible that I didn't catch this before I uploaded the MAP. Tbh, I thought people were overreacting when they first complained about the traced part. Now I see I was foolish for not looking into it then. Seeing the parts side by side, I totally understand why people were crying foul; the anatomy of Stormfur in that shot is suspiciously similar for something that was merely 'referenced', and not traced. I apologize to you for allowing this to slip through the cracks. I am angry and disappointed that my passion project and all the hard work the other animators did may now be tainted by this ordeal. I will do everything in my power to make sure nothing like this happens again.

I remember there was a scene in this book where a person was walking their dog (i think it was a terrier) and Riverclan attacked it and threw it in the river. Did the person do something? No. But I found it strange that as soon as the fight started the Erins forgot the person exsisted.
I was crying cause everyone misunderstood how strong crooked star was, just because he broke his jaw don't mean anything. but I still hate his mom for neglecting him.
I get Goosefeather is demented, but I've got something to say: Goosefeather is a jerky piece of badger dung. He chased a couple of kits and caused Stormkit's accident that scarred him for life. AND NO ONE BLAMED HIM. HECK, BRAMBLEBERRY DIDN'T EVEN DEMAND AN APOLOGY.
I really dislike how Rainflower wanted to change his name and it happened. Crooked Kit talked about how when he was leader he would be “Stormstar” and really liked the name. That name was ruined when he broke his jaw. Crooked kit was so sad when he heard his new name was Crooked kit. Rainflower made him a new nest because he would “hurt her and Oakkit just because he’s injured.” What!? That’s crazy. The other queen (forgot her name) would let him cuddle up with her and her kits when he would have nightmares and gently move him back before dawn. I love the fact that Shellheart defended him and was proud of him no matter what. Why couldn’t this baby boy have at least a better life?
