All teams in late January have injuries to cope with, not all teams can call on the NHLs highest paid center @ $13m. Knies not playing doesn't have to mean no1 goes to the net & block the goalie. Tonight the Leafs played like they were tired & certainly lacked creativity! 1st couple of mins a Senator clipped Woll to the ice & no1 reacted? Etc etc
There’s nothing like listening to a game called by Joe Bowen! I used to drive home listening to the game, and as the excitement built up I’d be gripping the steering wheel and then, he scores! Holy Mackinaw!
My thoughts exactly, I've seen goals called back for less of a kicking motion. Sports entertainment, who would bet on this crap. NHL, NFL are rigged by the league and refs...but that's just my opinion.

Woll was super sharp in net tonight. He looked so fast and was tracking really well. Much MUCH better rebound control than he's had recently, that was my biggest gripe with him versus Stolarz. Played the puck really well tonight too which is usually one of his weakest areas (unironically I think Hildeby was better at playing the puck than Woll before this game, even if Woll is better in literally every other area).
Unbelievable. They just can't pull it out when they need it. It's like clockwork with the Leafs. It's Ottawa, time to lose. What is it about Ottawa, Carolina and Columbus that Leafs can't beat them?

Having Holmberg averaging 13min a game is ridiculous and it's clearly a failed experiment when he clearly has no offensive abilities. And it's even more ridiculous that they now promote him to the 2nd line. We need a 3C who can play defensively and score 10-15 goals

Unlucky bounces which always happens in favour of the Sens against us. Not a bad game per se, but not good too. Refs in the first period wanted to give Sens everything to tie the game and then put the whistles away. Ggs though, Sens always have our number.
