Honestly just impressed other people can recognize the Japanese VA's. I usually have a really hard time telling characters' voices apart.
It's actually pretty easy when you're used to/know the VAs but some times they do such a crazy change in their voices that you don't even realize they're the same VA anymore lmao
I'm sure someone more used to it could ofc. But I sometimes don't know who's talking in anime if I can't see whose mouth moving.

What Dolores says is actually "tsubuyaki" (呟き: whisper) and not "seki" (咳: cough). They use very similar-looking kanji but they're actually different.

@@holoneless1081 Actually, "yuu" (as written) is correct. The katakana タ (ta) appears very similar to the kanji 夕 (yuu) (and is written the same by hand), but they are different in meaning. The kanji 夕 (yuu) means "evening" while katakana タ (ta) holds no inherent meaning and only represents the sound "ta."
They're pretty hard or sometimes impossible to differentiate if seen out of context, but for the most part, タ (ta) will be seen next to other katakana letters (example: タコス = tacos, パスタ = pasta) while 夕 (yuu) will be seen in compounds with other kanji (example: 夕方 = evening, 夕食 = dinner).
There's actually a similar issue with katakana カ (ka) and kanji 力 (chikara / ryoku = power). Context is key to figuring out which reading is correct.
