Thank you coach Jessie I m from india and in this hectic situation i can't go to my academy but sir with you i will try lvl best to do something everyday at home i am improving my dribbling skills, and after seeing the video i also tried to attempt such moves too (but i m unable to do shooting practice bcoz of unavailability of ring and backboard 😢 but still sir i m happy bcoz i m still continuing basketball in this hard situation 😊) Thank you for all this🙏😊 Loads of love from uttarpradesh, INDIA🇮🇳💕💕 Sir i must say you too stay safe and healthy too 🙏🙏🙏
if you look at westbrook spin moves, he does it how I do it (or vice versa); you swing the ball east to west and then spin the opposite way, throwing the defender off completely
Oh this is definitely happening off instinct, but I guarantee a lot of these details are things he's focused on consciously in practice and then he recognizes and applies subconsciously in games, and even consciously in games at one point earlier in his career.
What a strange comment lol. I’m pretty sure 99% of basketball players play off instinct. There’s way too much going on to plan every single movement out in your head before you start your movements.
I don't have big hands and have multiple videos showing myself doing the spin move on the channel. Do big hands help? Sure, but I've worked with 12 year olds with much smaller hands that can do this. How would it benefit me to make "fake content" that makes players worse? Wouldn't exactly help spread positive word of mouth about my advice lol
How about you try it and see for yourself. You'll find it's not nonsense if you do. It's simple centripetal force. If you fill a bucket half full and spin fast in a circle the bucket goes sideways but the water doesn't spill out. With your hand in front and a quick spin the ball is the water and your hand is the bucket.
But the side effects are #1 you cant hit a 3(only the backboard) #2 you have to shot from the wrong hand #3 cant even make 2/2 on ft #4 you have to move on Shanghai And lastly but not the least is #5 you can dunk on tre

Hi can you show how to cross someone up so badly that they fall
I want a girlfriend so badly
Playoff expectations:
Playoff reality: Passes up a free dunk
174 likes and no comments lemme fix that
This was prime Ben..
😊😊😊@@ehol109
Wish he did those moves in the playoffs instead of passing the ball.
Me too
There is always next year I dont think he will make the same mistake twice
@@KevinHernandez-hy1qbdamn
Maybe cuz he wasn’t in his prime🙄
Thank you coach Jessie

Love that you're trying to find ways to keep practicing! Stay safe 💯

Had anybody ever considered maybe sumtimes they do moves in the heat of the moment without any thought to it?

Its called muscle memory. Ofcourse you don't think in those split seconds lol

@@YT_ESSTEE yea like just off instinct and just cuz they are used to it

Ben is like the overhated player who is actually great at finishing
It’s spelled overrated
... people hate him?

coach how are they able to hold the ball in the hand? pls tell .... btw nice video
To start the spin put your hand more in front of the ball. It allows you to pull it back more quickly without losing it 👌

Thank you for helping me on handles, I have really learned a lot
Don't forget to pass the ball at the end.
Yo that’s deep it’s like I can look at that move and like think it’s tough but it’s explained to me like woah
Hey coach, should i snap my wrist while doing floater
No floaters are best with a dead ball meaning no rotation
Ah yes, the playoff god Ben Simmons
I love this move
Do you have anything on not passing an open dunk attempt in a crucial playoff game feat. Ben simmons???
Nooo! when you feel the defender then you spin! Which is why he put out the left arm! Move made famous by Larry Johnson(his charlotte hornets days)
As soon as I heard the words “bens simmons” I scrolled
Plz do a how to shoot like Ben
It put him in a perfect position to pass
Instructions not clear, felt the immediate urge to pass when open.
Make a great spin move..
then pass the ball
But the side effects are
#1 you cant hit a 3(only the backboard)
#2 you have to shot from the wrong hand
#3 cant even make 2/2 on ft
#4 you have to move on Shanghai
And lastly but not the least is
#5 you can dunk on tre
So do the move correctly?
Ok... I got the spin down, but Lopez just blocks me every time. How do I do the reverse lay up?
How about 3point shooting hack ?
If Ben Simmons learns how to shoot well, he could become one of the best SF in the NBA unfortunately, I don’t think that’s the case
He’s a guard though no?
@@acecun6202 yeah, but if you think about it he could play 1 to 4 positions if there wasnt someone on that position on philly already
but that's actually a travel right??
There is a new move, spin, get loose, and then pass an open dunk/layup. Works 100% of the time and assures of an early playoff exit. Lol!
From there he will hit a spin fadeawa-😮
He spin and pass the ball
Press x 2times
He is very tall for point guard
Bro do ya not see how big of a step from spinning that is to take
#0 should have stayed where he was at
dribble: 90
shooting: 45
I'm surprised he didn't pass the ball there
WHY DIDNT HE DO THIS IN THE PLAYOFFS THEN?!
Isn’t that a travel
I believe it is.
And yall wanna trade him? From 1 mistake?
wait he didn’t pass the ball when was wide open 🤣🤣🤣
Ben Simmons? Nah I'm good.
I rather shoot the ball than spin moves.hahaha
This is nice but he passed up a dunk lmfao
Cause he can't crossover
Bench Simmons is good for once
Too bad he couldn’t use this move against the hawks to score atleast one Bucket against a short trae young 🤣🤣
nice spin move.... not like LBJ
Remember when you get to the goal right open DONT PASS
Its wise to pattern your play with the simmons.
Bruh ben simmons?
more like bad defense
Don’t care about 12 points a game Mona Lisa Simmons
and now he's terrible wish he got more confident
He plays scared.
