I have the same car and similar upgrades minus the turbos. Mine ran 10.8 in the 1/4 mile at my local track. What is this car doing in the 1/4 with that turbo upgrade?
The m157 engine was made for modding with it's large displacement (5.5 liter) and the way the turbo's are set up. Mod for mod the m157 can compete with any BMW engine's, past or present. When the f10 m5 came out, mod for mod the m157 was way more powerful. I have a stage 2 m157 and it's a nasty engine, scary fast.

As a proud owner of a W213 E63s and soon to be replaced for an LCI M5 Comp, I respect both cars. I gotta say no BMW beats the noise the AMG makes, that 5.5L sounds beautiful, definitively not as fast revving as the 4.0TT, you can clearly see even in this video how the hot inside V turbo design in the BMW delivers power instantaneously, there was zero lag, while 5.5L had a slight delay. Really good tune as evidenced by that smooth top end power. Its super expensive to get these tunes and modes on the AMGs vs the BMW especially for the recent 4.0TT. There are some monster W213 out there, but very rare in the US. For being an old generation very respectable race and even if gets beat in the next video, you gotta keep in mind CLS are super heavy, more so then an E63S or an M5 and that 5.5L is pretty aged at this point. I still hope to see a 4.0TT with similar mods race on this channel.
Only thing I’ll add is that the Cls63 is not heavier than the w213 e63s. Not only does it have a bigger displacement engine by a huge margin (1.5l) albeit more dated and less responsive , it’s also the lighter car. Cls63 4matic comes in around 4400lbs. While w213 e63s is about 4500+lbs. the really difference is the 9 speed MCT transmission in the w213 vs the slower/older 7 speed used in the Cls giving it a huge advantage. Put that transmission on the Cls and it would walk the w213 e63s with its lighter weight and larger displacement v8 advantages.
E63 AMG S owner here, same year as the CLS. These have the M157 Motors (Same motors for all AMGs for these years). Anyways, with just a Stage 1 ECU Tune and TCU Tune, I am pushing 680 to the wheels. This CLS has upgraded everything, I already know this thing is pushing 800hp+ to the wheels. GO AMG! (If the M5 did the same list of mods, the outcome would favor the M5 a lot more)

Amg literally has upgraded pistons and rods with upgraded turbos, upgraded fueling system, full bolt ons, tuned for E, And the M5 just has a shitty OTS tune with E added. Idk how ur flexing this lol
I have a very similar set up that would make a good race. 2017 C63s with Pure900 turbos, black boost cold air intakes, water/meth cooling, TCU tune & custom Dyno ECU tune with catless downpipes. 91 pump gas (debating going to some type of E mix). Mustang dyno put it at 720 whp & 760 wtq. Rear wheel drive. The CLS is heavier by about 800 pounds. The TCU tunes really make a big difference with these cars, they always put down more torque than normal so unlocking those torque limiters on the transmissions takes it to another level.
@@gillypig1 EuroCharged … in the AMG community their TCU tune has had nothing but positive feedback and great results. For the ECU tune though, once you add a few mods I feel like the custom dyno tune by a reputable tuner is the way to go because it allows the car to be tuned according to what that engine is able to do with those mods. Cost a lot more, but worth it IMO. Mines ran great over a year now fully modded and trust me, I’m always in Sport+ testing it

Purchased a complete weistec exhaust and waiting to purchase W.3 turbos for the complete install. I’ve also purchased and installed an AMS carbon intake kit. Wanted feedback as much as I can get from different sources on tcu tunes. Thanks for any feedback you have for me. 😎👍🏼

Not it's about right to assume it's around 800 whp ( plus or minus a little). It's running e30 and I've seen a dyno article with pure stage 2 turbos making 804 whp on e30. The m5 is most likely low 700s.

Custom tune on e30/e40 is already enough to beat it on stage 2 (stock turbos), only lost because it’s using a basic non custom e30 map.

Purchased a complete weistec exhaust and waiting to purchase W.3 turbos for the complete install. I’ve also purchased and installed an AMS carbon intake kit. Upgraded turbos and clutch pack lol that AMG is a serious car..shits heavily modified I'd say...that's easily 800-830hp..Brabus cars have similar mods and make like 900hp at times like the Brabus rocket 900 and shit
either something wrong with that m5 or that amg is pushing way more power, i have a 2015 cls amg 63s and if he got those upgrade turbos he should be north of 850hp or very close...and those torque gotta be above 900, im guessing he got the weistec upgraded turbo's im fixing to get
Not it's about right to assume it's around 800 whp ( plus or minus a little). It's running e30 and I've seen a dyno article with pure stage 2 turbos making 804 whp on e30. The m5 is most likely low 700s.
With an ECU flash, that BMW will lick that CLS, respect to the AMG nonetheless.
