- As well as the usual bug fixes and balancing tweaks, the latest update (v.0.7) for Zombie Gunship Survival sees the fusion-based weapon leveling system replaced by a boost system that's fueled by a new bolt currency. Bolts are acquired by scrapping unwanted weapons.

I have same question as DaUziel. I don't understand the weapon stars. I have two cannons of the exact same type, one of them has 1 star and the other has 2 stars. I keep hearing weapons with more stars are more powerful. But if i look at the stats of both weapons, they are exactly the same. Power, damage, fire rate, reload time, all the numbers are totally identical. I can't see a single difference between them. If all the numbers are the same, how is the one with 2 stars more powerful?

How do you kill the impaler? I have a level 25 EPIC *** 3 star 5.56 M.G & my gun overheats after killing just 2 of them.
Well, you can already kill two of them. The gun overheating is a feature of gameplay. I just you just have to keep levelling it up!

I recently started playing this. Is it worth it to upgrade gray and green weapons? It looks like a waste of steel, I might as well save for blues at least.

The new update removes the Fusion option for weapons. Now you simply scrap weapons you don't want to get the bolt currency required to Boost or upgrade them directly.
You can fuse weapons once you've maxed out their power at the current star level. Once the number in the bottom left corner of the weapon says "MAX" the "Boost" button changes to "Fuse". When you pick "Fuse" button a window opens up with that weapon on the left and all other weapons with the same number of stars on the right. If you don't have any other weapons with the same number of stars, nothing will appear on the right and you can't fuse. If you have other weapons with the same number of stars, it will say "Select ___ more ___ star weapons". The blanks will be filled with the number of weapons needed. One star weapons need (1) One star weapon to fuse to. To fuse a Two star weapon, you will need (2) more Two star weapons to fuse with and so on. Pick the weapons from the right column to fuse with the main weapon on the left. Once you've chosen the required number of weapons to fuse together, the box in the lower left will display how much metal you will need to complete the process. Press it, the box displaying the metal required, and the fusion takes place.

What is the difference between the Power Lvl and Damage Lvl?
Damage is the damage to zombies. I think power is a more general stats that reflects all the other stats.
theloongview but I've had exact same guns, with same stats but different power levels. The reason I ask, should I keep upgrading a common weapon with a lower power level but or scrap it and start upgrading the same weapons except its green and uncommon with a high power level but same damage, fire rate, reload, and cool down.
I always scrap the least rare weapons and boost the most rare.
Im level 24 i have 25mm ac 40mm/60 rnd cannon (recommended for impalers) and 90mm howtwizer (recomended for large clusters of zombies)

I still don't udnerstand how stars work. I upgraded a 2 star to level 5, and my level 5 1 star was still better.
sorry - not sure I understand the question but in general, the higher the star, the more powerful the weapon. You need to level up a weapon to its maximum level before you can upgrade it, which adds another star. But obviously some weapons are more powerful than others even if they have fewer stars.
how si your sniper rifle that powerful??!!! it seems all my weapons are under powered despite being two to three stars?
I think the power of all weapons was downgraded during the soft launch test.
Weapon upgrade sucks. Should be better than just damaged and power. Maybe better cooling time or some other stats.
What is the point of fusing tho?
You boost a weapon to level it up. When it's maxed out its levels, you have to fuse it to increase its star rating. This resets the level to 1 and you start boosting. Leveling up and fusing increases a weapon's power too.

How do you fuse weapons?
You have to have leveled up (boosted) your weapon to its maximum level before you can fuse weapons.

It depends on the weapon and its star level. The lowest number is 10 level for a one star item.
