CJ is an absolute gentleman, he gave it his all when ever he pulled on the red of Munster or green of Ireland. Was sad to hear he was returning to SA, but I'll always have great memories of him. A great role model and inspiration to young Irish players. I hope he and his family will be happy in SA. CJ will always be welcomed back to his second home in Ireland.

  • @raydenwins1071

Much love to CJ, he represented Ireland with great dignity. I always felt great pride when he pulled on the green of Ireland.
Irish people have migrated the world over for centuries, and in turn many people have come to Ireland to set up a new life for their families. Some people may have questioned him playing for Ireland, but for me what better representation of our country is a man who uprooted his whole life to start fresh in a new country with nothing but a dream to his name? The Irish rugby team represents a lot more than just a person born on the island of Ireland. He encapsulates that spirit of chasing a dream even when the odds are stacked against you, and leaving behind your place of birth to make something for yourself and your family.
I am very happy to see he is content and living his life back home with friends and family surrounding him. Go raibh maith agat CJ, you and your family are always welcome in your second home.
