The theme of this year’s Met Gala was "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”, and these celebs definitely left a mark in fashion history! Tommy Ross imo hailee steinfeld looked she was going to her prom and gigi hadid was nothing special and did not follow the theme. chadwick however was incredible, not only did he follow the theme but also killed it. he was one of the best dressed and needed to be in this video

im just surprised how nobody decided to dress like one of the tyrells from game of thrones, i think most of their outfit are pretty much the embodiment of catholic church. especially olenna, i think somebody can pull off a whole veil look like priyanka chopra.
Lana doesn’t get the appreciation that she deserves. Like her dress was so beautiful and fit the theme perfectly!! I swear if like for example Rihanna wore Lana’s outfit everyone would list her as number one

Rihanna, Priyanka Chopra and Blake Lively totally blew us off. Very different, unique and fashionable outfits.
*Zendaya's* outfit was the most interesting and innovative one. I give her 110/100. Next would be *Gigi* and the third would be *Blake* from the list. Also Some of the honorable mentions looked better than the listed ones.

My top 3:
1. Zendaya- without a doubt my favorite going with a Joan of Arc (a saint) inspired out (standing out and making her look extremely unique which is quite bold and daring) with the armor and chainmail makes this without a doubt my favorite look of the gala.
2. Blake Lively- That dress is extremely gorgeous my only critique is i wish she did a little more bolder head piece to blend in with such a powerful dress.
3. I'd say Priyanka Chopra. I love that head piece extremely gorgeous my critique for that outfit is that that dress is a little to simple (in my opinion) for such a head piece.
One other critique I have is I like the idea of Rihanna's outfit but instead of that short dress, I felt that if she had done a jumpsuit with that same design to go with that coat, it would've probably made her outfit a little better (even though that may be more inappropriate at such an occasion)
But Rihanna was the best dress tho , she was perfect

People say Gigi's outfit was basic?? And a POPE and ANGEL costumes aren't the flipping basics for that theme??
To me, It's about creativity and class and imagination.
In my opinion Gigi's was perfect. It made it into the theme (I mean stained glass, c'mon that's pretty catholic/heavenly/Church-y if you ask me) while at the same time being creative and stylish.
Just look at dem glass shard edges beneath her exquisite collarbones and golden hair. Absolutely divine.😂😆😍😍

For me it has to be Zendaya, Hailee and Blake as my top picks. Zendaya always has something new and memorable to show. I like her because her approach towards fashion is different and invulnerable. Her taste is peculiar but gorgeous. Hailee is one of my all time favourite when it comes to fashion. She is what I would call “subtle beauty”. The ease with which she carries her outfits just makes her even more attractive. Her choices are simple yet elegant with a hint of glamour. I was so happy to see Blake on the list! She definitely was a show stopper and I love that she went out of the box this time!!
