Taken from Britannica: "Franz Schubert (born January 31, 1797-died November 19, 1828) an Austrian composer who bridged the worlds of Classical and Romantic music, noted for the melody and harmony in his songs (lieder) and chamber music....Franz Schubert purposefully disavowed modulation via the smooth succession of pivot chords. He preferred to drop suddenly into unrelated, and therefore unexpected, keys...." Such a short life to bring so much beautiful music into the world! Thank you for bringing this lovely waltz to life, Efrain! 🌹
Love your interpretation that brings out the elegant mix of melancholy & lyricism of this sweet little waltz with a very good tempo. Perfect execution of the dynamics/articulation with excellent phrasing. Great recording for students who are learning this piece now. So glad you created the Schubert playlist. It’ll be my new favorite 💗🎶💗🎶💗🎶💗
Thanks, June! And thanks for selecting this little piece. Because of that I decided record it and maybe now, you and other piano students can discover new musical ideas and enjoy this new version. Thanks for your kind words.
Saludos!
