I learned how important stretching is from my Pops, who’s 89 now. He has been doing stretches for as long as I can remember. He can still bend down and pick things from the floor. He still golfs and plays curling.
I feel like I get a really good stretch while lifting weights but I focus on using a full range of motion. My art therapy is list making top 10 movies etc. Thats just because I can’t draw though lol
Lifting weights with range of motion is amazing for your flexibility also. I respect it. And thats a pretty cool hobby, I can't draw either so I'm with ya!
How ironic! I just went to the doctor today because of back pain, and she told me to simply stretch.

He's got it figured out! I sometimes see people in their 60s that can't move much, so to be 89 and getting after it, he's a champ!
