If you really want to improve your speed then tricks will not help. You need to have understanding of concept. Otherwise you will only be able to get to answer if same type of question is asked. And if by chance certain changes are made in question then sorry to say you will get stuck. So do try to understand the concept instead of remembering tips and tricks.

Thank you sir for making the concept easier. Can you please clear my below doubt on ages please : Six years ago, the ratio of the ages of Kunal and sagar was 6:5. Four years hence, the ratio of their ages will be 11:10. What is sagar age at present. ? a) 16 yrs b) 18 yrs c) 20 yrs d) none
This can be solved by ratio method.. total span =6+4= 10 years . Difference in ratio = 11-6 or 10-5= 5 parts.. so 5 parts= 10 years . ... 1 part= 2 years.. substitute this in given ratio , six years ago sagar age = 5*2= 10 years . Present age = 10+6= 16 years
