Porter is Eminem's hype man on tours and concerts. He knows his place, he has no reason to feel inferior nor should we feel bad for him. He just loves being part of it I'm sure. I don't know him more than I see him on Em on the stage everytime tbh.
He is also Em’s childhood friend along with proof. Em told that In Hot boxining with Tyson
Pretty sure he was in D-12 too. Back when I went to the "Up In Smoke Tour" in 2000 Proof was Em's hype man but after Proof was killed Mr. Porter took Proofs place.
Mr Porter is Denaun that Em talks about all the time. He went by Kon Artist in D12 and by Mr Porter as a producer. He has been friends with Em since like highschool or grade school... some shit. He can rap rap, he just is more of a punchline dude than a technical writer like Em or Royce.

You spit what feels good and works and have a good time with it. And seeing the dynamic between Em and Royce in interviews and stuff, they really don't give a crap about who's better
I think they do feel some kind of pressure and I yes I mean even Em. He’s admitted it on a lot of interviews. It’s just the matter of respect between MC’s and friends. They’re having fun but definitely trying to beat each other 😂 we all see Em as the best but he probably doesn’t see it that way when Royce is there.

I think that's one thing that sets him apart from a lot of rappers. Someone like Jay-Z is in a lot of people's top 5, but when Jay-Z raps you know what you are getting. Sure, a lot of the time you know what you are getting with Eminem, but he can always throw that arm out into outer space and grab something you would never guess in a million years.
