One thing I face constantly in Legend Quick Play is people constantly running foward. Correct me if I´m wrong, but enemies will chase you forever in this game and they don´t despawn right? The correct aproach would be making the area safe and move. But yesterday, I insulted one guy because I couldn´t keep with the pace and I died to an assasin in the last bit of the map (and then we all died) because he would never stop to clean the rear hordes and specials. I know I shouldn´t trash talked him because is a game but man I was so mad that we died when we had just a bit left.
Great vid and skill btw. Learning a lot by watching you play.

And Tony Stark said, "We'll lose'. You said 'we'll do that together too'. Well guess what Captain. We lost. And you weren't there."
If I'm on point, I will often take an aggressive forward position, but I maintain about 5-15 seconds ahead of the rest of the team or at least the 2nd person behind me typically. If I see myself start to widen that gap of time, I will in various ways wait for them to catch up. I'll take longer off the beat paths and look for items/books. I'll go out of my way to get some random ambient mobs. I will always stop before a drop and check to see how my teammates are doing and if they have things under control. Once I see them start to advance properly without resistance than I'll drop and continue on.
I've had probably about a dozen people in my entire time playing, tell me that I was moving too fast for them, and it was usually because those people wanted me to play like a bot and be literally at their hip because they didn't know how to even manage basic infantry. I don't boot up Vermintide to babysit other people through their games.
But if you got jumped by an assassin and no one was around to get it off you, then it speaks to what I mentioned about splitting up but still staying in range/line of sight of each other in case things like that happen. It's one thing to not engage enemies in the rear and act as a lookout/guard at the front, it's another to completely ignore your teammates who are covering the rear and put yourself 15+ seconds of distance ahead of them or beyond a section that drops and you can't get back to them. Playing at your own pace is important for your own fun, but finding the balance to fit that individual pace into the overall pace of the team also takes practice, time and a bit of patience in some cases, which that person you mentioned may have lacked.
Try to refrain from the insults of course. It doesn't help your frame of mind in the long run. Instead, try to imitate the type of behavior and gameplay of how you wish that person would have played. I too have had team mates who run off without a second thought to any of the rest of the team and have suffered game ending consequences. Because of that, I try to always make a conscious effort to be aware of my teammates and what they are handling in any moment. But I also like to fight my own fights because I know I am more than capable, so I try to trust my teammates to do the same, and just be there if they need me in those critical moments or vice versa. Most people, in my experience, don't play like the person you mentioned. Even if people lack the practice and experience, they often have the patience to wait for you and watch your back. Don't let one guy spoil the game for you.
Glad you are enjoying the videos!
