MUSLIMES have always been very tolerant with people living in there land .E.g. you can check the history of hazrat umar when he concur palistine how he treated people with other religion.
In Spain Christians and Jews were given top positions in the govt.
In ottoman empire all the religions had full autonomy.
In mughal empire all the religions had full autonomy.
However there are some people who are intolerant but they are in very small numbers .
In Islam all the religions are respected . .

The problem with the muslums and reverts in most of the countries in Latin America is their non adgerence to islamic practices due to lack of Dawah and islamic schools/seminaries. I have cone across to this fact when I met a Chilean convert who was so much concerned about himself of whether he will stay intact or could be estranged. Islamic environment and the community support is absent in Latin America except a few isolated cities or countries like Columbia or even Cuba where there is some community support. Due to the absence of such support the converts fail to cope up with their nascent feeble IMAAN, the very woes that come their way after leaving their religion and family. May Allah protect all those new and old converts and keep them steadfast and give taufiq to the other brothren in other countries to visit them and know their situation.
How many Christians, catholic, Buddhist, atheist, are supported in your tolerant countries? Or do they get rape and be headed?

Having read many books on Islamic Spain,Carlos Mesem,past president of Argentina,reminds of what happened when the Christians Reqonquista of Islamic Spain took place,Muslim leaders at the time,were given a choice to convert to Christianity,some did in order to retain their wealth,lands.

That's because as Muslims we haven't done our job in making Quran translations in every language and haidth in every language and learning the prayer step by step in every language. The Christian has translated the Bible in every language but we haven't done our job. Look at people in China or Japanese when they convert they have no translations so they have to make there own. There was couple of lation brother in Texas USA when the embraced Islam they didn't have any translations so the brothers had to make there own translations. It's time to do our job and fund raise the money and get people of knowledge involved with the people from each country to translations the Quran. The greatest book Quran needs to be available for everyone in the world. Regardless if the convert or not just as long as they can pick up the book and read the holy Quran in there language

(may be the spelling are wrong), and continuously 18 months we sailed from Puerto Maderyn, Buenos Aires, BA, to Brazilian ports. The stay in BA was some times a week or more and i visited the city many times and tried to find out mosque, but could not found. The people were extraordinary beautiful and gentle and cooperating, indeed. i love Argentina and was planning to visit again BA in our DAWAT O TABLEEGH missions who are regularly visiting Latin American cities, but my health and the death of my wife (in 1989) prevented me. I learnt quite good Spanish and I really like Latin American countries. This clip refreshed my old memories. love you all.

Glory be to God, I am surprised with the pace the faith is growing with in Argentina. I had a lady colleague Argentine who told me that there are few muslims in Her country when she visited us here in Nigeria I was so happy when she mentioned there are muslims in Argentina, and there was a time when I was reading Argentina football legends I saw a muslim name among them I was a kind, excuse me? But what amazed me more than anything is the country's laws that allow all faith freedom unlike the giants who claims to be the world freedom and human right keepers but persecutes some faiths and cultures. Love and support for Morocco as 1st choice for the world cup, and 2nd Argentina. I placed morocco first because I am African but I love Argentina as well.
It's actually the Muslim nations that persecute people of other religions and doesn't allow freedom of worship.. in first world countries Muslim have always been free to worship that's why most of them got there
Never hear the Argentina has living muslim people but I will be support final world Cup in 2022 Qadar

It is a welcome news that Argentina has a more than one million Muslims. This Latin American country is indeed a fertile ground for Muslim da'wah groups. Language barrier is a big challenge however. Spanish, unlike English, is not a universally used language.
Hopefully it spreads over there. A lot of Hispanic in north America have reverted. I heard Islam is slowly making a percence in Mexico, Venezuela, Ecuador, etc etc.
