The Aussies dropped the ball here. Etcheverry and Carle both played incredibly well, but honestly, Ebden and Perez appeared to come out on court without much of plan. They made a lot of tactical blunders, and failing to break at 4-3 in the second set when Carle was serving at 0-40 was inexcusable. Honestly, I think they were overconfident and relied too much on their experience, expecting an easy victory.
Not sure what happened. Ebden and Perez are highly experienced doubles players. They are both top 15 in doubles and Ebden is coming off a gold medal win at the Olympics.
@@jinaiden Who even knows the common wealth flag of Australia besides locals lol? that doesn't makes any sense on a global stance. Looking at the thumbnail you almost immediately associate green and yellow to Brazil, like it or not....that's how it is...
Ebden is getting old and slow. His reactions on court are behind what Peers or Purcell or even Kokki can muster. Why bring an old dog to a fresh fight. The Argentinians ran rings around the Aussies. Matt's net game was poor today.
i think he just didnt have a very good day, but I agree that he is ageing and australia has heaps of great youngsters to play this tournament. Adding on to that, he is still higher ranked in doubles than everyone except Jordan Thompson.
Como nos gusta ganar de visitantes al equipo local, especialistas en ese tipo de victorias en tenis, estuve en Zagreb en la Davis.

Exactly.
They took ages before they let Leyton not play the doubles anymore.
Qué gran juego hicieron!! orgullo nacional!

Increíble. Bien hecho chicos!!!!
Carlé estaba encendida!

"Australia, now cheer for Kazakhstan =) You love Rybakina, don't you? =)"
"To lose at home is lame."

If they are Australia, why are they dressed as Brazil?
That is Australian colour for years . Brazil just copied hihihi ...
@@Danle52 ehhhh, explain?? the Australian flag is blue, however, Brazil is exactly green and yellow, therefore I am not understanding your comment.
