As I mentioned in the community the other day, my beloved cat Moon has passed away.
On the day we rescued him, he had a blood test at the hospital and was found to be positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), so we were prepared for the possibility that he might develop the disease.
Currently, there is no fundamental treatment, and we went to the hospital hoping to alleviate the symptoms even a little, but we were unable to stop the progression of the symptoms.
It was about a month after he fell ill, and it was an untimely farewell.
I am proud of Moon, who survived his time as a stray and fought against the disease.
My days with Moon were truly wonderful.
I still feel like he is beside me.
And it makes me feel happy.
Rest in peace, my sweet Moon.
You were born, met me, and mourned spring and saw autumn. In the process of tracing my memories, I recognized in your innocent photo that I didn't even know the seasons after all. Now, only you, who has lost your voice, can see the moon and flowers. Even the root of my tongue, which lamented "It's all unreliable," hints at hope before it dries. It's like a night where I can't get a response. I embraced another small, cooling life. Born in the snow, I always laughed, hated the rain, and was here. The only thing that is certain is your warmth from a moment ago. Even if you ask me "What's sad?" I'm not sad about anything. The sun must have just gone. Contrary to my faint hope, I greeted the very ordinary, pale sunset. Even if I'm left alone, it's funny to say goodbye. The sun must have just gone. I met you by chance, and I greeted the sunset with the very ordinary cherishment. Now I'll laugh now.
