with ancient gear box you can either run tin goldfish and go box in geargiant or run monster reincarnation to just drop it and bring it back to add knight to hand, it works on the plus side caz u could drop fortress for golem or gadjitron then discard gadjitron or golem and ss fortress.
Just used this on duel network and I have to say it is so good! Love it! Got accused of been a hacker because I used limiter removal hahaha it's great!
hey could you do a update of this with the full 60 cards? i play at school in the mornings and my friends have dragon based and junk based decks and i rarely win (my deck is kinda just a bundle of cards i chose out of the 500 i had so its not based on anything) so id like to get a ancient gear based first real deck. (i subbed anyways you got some good vids)

Yeah,I'm running an ancient gear deck. I'm having trouble because every time I power up ancient gear engineer,and ancient gear fist my opponent always has a de-spell. Is there any way to stop that from happening?
personally, I wouldn't run that card, because you when you have geartown out, you only have to tribute 1 for golem and I also run 2 ancient gear castle so I can use that as a substitute.
actually man if you would go to the yugioh wiki and check out the rulings for Geartown it actually does work about replacing it because i checked and i do it all the time. you also miss geartowns timing to special Gadjiltron anyway bc MST works of Spell speed 3. nice idea about ancient gear box though you should try running a Redox and either 2 Cardcar d or 2 card trooper for the draw effect when its destroyed ad i also ran machina gearframe with machina fortress too to get my speed engine going. good luck though
also you could try running a random magician of faith or two just incase scenarios where your powerbonds fail. oh and run oneday of peace during the 2 main phase after activating powerbond to negate powerbond damage during the end phase :)
Matthew Preiss Yes, if you do activate the gear town, you do miss the timing, but if you set the geartown over a new one, it works. If you activate a new one, it will resolve its effects instead of activating the ones in the grave. Anyways, I do believe as a not ancient gear player myself, that the machina engine is a really good idea. This kid has been playing this much longer than me though so I don't have much influence on his deck xD I love what you were saying though, They were all amazing ideas and knowing him, he will give them serious thought!!!!
Dude, you're a genius, the Magical Hats trick is great. That's like the Skilled Dark Magician of the deck for the AG Archtype, except there's no cost (spell counters).
No no you need polys too fusion subs like the earth hex cealed fusion geartown and a magical hats works for gear towns need itleast 2 dark holes and a raigeki because so many decks swarm the field you need to keep the field open and clear as well as keeping as much life as possible
An ancient gear deck people saying throw all this in there no not at all an authentic ancient gear deck is a just gears dude run magical hats and gear town when they atk activate magical hats then bring out 2 gear towns after that you get 2 gadjiltrons you should do that I've otk'd with gadjiltrons limiter removal than activate twin swords of flashing light twyce so they can attack twyce ancient gear night isn't good soldier works you can Mst gear towns just don't chain if you do it says miss timed activation...

Instead of using mst on ur gear town how about using double cyclone.Also how about add a machina fortress in ur deck n use Gadjiltron to get him out.

You're overstuffing the deck for the otk/kill deck you don't need cybers boxes or overload fusions
