White Knight was more of a badguy for the first season or two. I think he was a pretty good definition of lawful evil. He was quite happy to inflict civillian causalties to complete the mission. In one he even deploys a nuke to stop an evo outbreak and gets mad with Rex for disabling it and stopping the evo and reversing it's effects even though his plan would destroyed a whole city and killed millions of people. After this episode he and Rex devolop a kind of grudging respect and he slowly but surely becomes just as reliable as Six or Bobo even risk his isolation suit breaching on one occassion (which actually wouldn't harm in the slightest just then he could no longer claim to be completely nanite free and would risk going evo like everyone else on earth)

1:26 This revelation shocked the hell out of me back when I was a kid. I didn't see it coming but when you look back at the series, it makes a lot of sense. He was always off on his own somewhere secure and sterilized.
It’s rather laughable that White Knight thought that walking mechanized quarantine Bubble was actually meant to fight Rex’s giant robot form. Considering how much trouble Rex gave it as himself, thinking what his mecha form could do means that box would’ve been turned into scrap metal.
I think the mech was just meant to soften him up. White knew the mech would only do and take so much damage but afterwards he could fall back on his armoured quarantine suit
It is just a prototype and hadn't even been tested in the field yet, as the series went on providence got a lot better with their anti-rex countermeasures
To be fair, it was a prototype, and it failed because of Rex's small stature, mobility, and ability to revert to escape the bindings meaning none of the weapons could hit. His Giant Robot Form wouldn't have those traits. It's like using the Hulkbuster Suit on Spiderman, it's designed to fight a large target that relies on strength, not a small, nimble, and intelligent one.

Tell me, did the Power Rangers ever hit their boss in the face, for the sake of one innocent monster, knowing that their boss is superior to them in strength and that people's lives are at stake? I remember this only in the Mystic Power and SPD, and then, it was not as serious as here.
I don't think Providence's R&D team could develop something like that. They would probably need an expert like Caeser Salazar or Van Kleiss himself to help with research. The mech suit is the best Providence could come up with, is my best guess.

In fact, we literally see him saying after waking up and hack the place to shut down said, "wait were are we" meaning that Rex was actually still suffering from Amnesia at the time. So its not a stretch that White figures out that him and Six suspect that Rex's Evo form is what cause his Amnesia, and he figures that Rex did forget why he was strip from his Nanites, which give a reason to remind Rex about his condition without directly stated it was him who Turn White into a pure human with zero Nanites.
If I remember right White Knight wanted to kill the EVO that put everyone to sleep but Rex didn't want to take the chance in case killing it didn't wake everyone up.
Plus wasn't the EVO like some kid or something. That the nanites inside of him were the harm and not him that Rex wanted to protect. Gosh I miss this show so much.
basically a Virus inside a guy in a hospital mutated which caused a sleep plague that put everyone on the continent to sleep, possibly the entire planet, and they are running out of time before the entire world starts dying of dehydration. White Knight wants to kill patient 0 but Rex wants to try curing him because if Knight killing Patient 0 doesnt reverse the sleep plague then the entire world is gonna die.

This puts a scary implication of what forged White Knight's paranoia about nanites and him going full Fundamentalist!Batman, he's a man who had control and a position in the World Elite's circle, a deluded madman with everything being a machine and rejecting other's responsibilities, he can carry his own but NOT allow others! Money could have corrupted him in his early life, but another factor is Black Knight being the implication of lover/daughter who was abused by traditionalist thinking, i.e. women don't have souls and made to obey all man's orders.
