Baek said that the nights he recorded he was too cold and we can tell by the steam or mist coming out of his mouth; he also said that when he grabbed the irons from the train, he hurt his hands. And regarding the vocals, if you listen to him better even than Candy, it's because he took singing lessons from scratch to deliver everything on Bambi. We love it so much. He said that he tried too hard, that he hopes we will give a lot of love to Bambi and the album. Our genius idol Baekhyun is so cute and considerate of us that he even confessed that for as long as he's gone, two songs will be released. May I ask if you have listened to any of EXO's b-sides? Especially the winter ones? EXO are quite known for their R&B that is not really reflected in most of their title tracks. As a vocal and R&B enthusiast, I have yet to find a K-Pop boygroup doing R&B better than EXO. If you are into the genre, I really suggest you the group and their side works. Baekhyun and especially D.O have always been leaning toward the genre and Chen toward powerful ballad. Baekhyun;s previous two albums are pretty good but I must say Bambi album is his best yet. I really enjoy each and every track and I love how mature this album sounds compared to his previous ones. I got off from work only to see NCT fanboying over the album all over Twitter and decided I should check it out immediately. His vocals in All I Got are on a whole another level. If you get constant chills from bambi, I don't know how you will feel listening to that song hehe. Glad you enjoyed the song, though!
Dropping great songs and enlisting is what EXO do, though. Xiumin's 'You', D.O.'s 'That's Okay', Suho's fantastic album, 'Self-Portrait', Chen's 'Hello' and even Chanyeol's 'The Box' OST, they've all done it. Baekhyun has never really been top of my bias wreckers list, further than all 9 of them are biases and bias wreckers, but this new album really showcases his talent. He said that D.O. told him he had found his flavour with this album, and I think he's right. This genre is perfect for the new, adult Baekhyun and holds so much promise for his return.
You really need to check Saay music, she is one of the producers of this song and she is amazing, you actually can hear her voice in the background a couple of times in bambi 🤧
One thing about EXO music is that there is always balance. Baekhyun wanted this kind of vibe for this 3rd album.. and he really thank the composer of Bambi for making it. He gave us his full potential in this album and its freaking good. He did a hell of hard work to leave us with to show his appreciation for supporting him and asked to wait for him a little.. he is such a sweetheart 🥰
