Yeah that’s something that makes him a real mentor not just a model mentor who’s there for the show with only intentions to film a show, because the truth is there’s hundreds of actual other tecahers and mentors behind the scene that help the trainees more but they aren’t shown because they aren’t famous. But minghao actually teaches them fully till the end instead of just for the scenes that need to be filmed he helps them out late at night and all which is unrequited and not many mentors actually do that they just finish filming and head home, that’s the harsh reality of mentors on survival shows

Even though he was wearing sparkling black suit n might be expensive but it is a low-key dress compared to other mentor as either they are only female among the group or Male among it or they among themselves (same gender) they use more vibrant colors or contrasting color which always stood them out like saying I'm a idol or a mentor but he used pure black suit which doesn't make it contrasting as he is not the only one but he chose the clothes which only sparkle when bright light falls on it or zoom in and give a low-key vibe when he is not the center

But I think his presence and how he carries himself stood out making his attire and movement eye-catching. Jun did say that there are techniques and ways that must be executed if you are wearing this kind of stage outfit to bring out the best of it. I guess this was it. I cannot see it much with SVT performance because all of them have a commanding aura.

Minghao is the teacher that everybody likes. He's so passionate to his students. He helps everyone in need and he teaches with patience. I love him so much 🥺

Minghao can blend in the group without outshining them. Though you can see the difference between a professional and trainees. They still have a lot of room for inprovemnets but I know that with all their hard work, they'll be as good as Minghao someday. 🥺

like the other comments said, it’s no doubt that minghao really did his best to blend in. when giving advice to the trainees, he always emphasized the importance of uniformity, group spirit, and being able to match with each other AND I LOVE HOW HE LIVES BY HIS WORDS!!! 🥺 still, THE MINGHAO stood out with his moves and stage presence and facial expressions and everything in between~
you can really see how much experience hao when he dances beside the trainees - he dances much more lightly and effortlessly ! so nice to see how much he has probably improved over the years
It is incredible how he tried so hard to merge with the trainees I adore him! However it is very noticeable the grand difference between them and minghao :O you can really tell who the mentor is in every aspect, dance, presence, the volume of his voice and the naturality of just being there in the stage minghao is truly amazing!

he was always rather popular contestant but obviously there are more talented/popular ones than him at that time and that is why he did not get to debut
@@karmun0617 Actually he was not favored by chinese fangirls back then, even thought he's more talented and hard-working than most of the trainees. Because those who watch this kind of talen show in china are mostly fangirls to some trainees already and chinese fangirls prioritize a pretty face over a good talent. He got recognized by vocal teachers, mentors and other people who have been working in the entertainment industry for years, but sadly not by chinese fangirls.
The trainees did well, maybe because of their age being so close to MingHao, they blend in well and MingHao toning down his aura and dance so that the trainees stands out is really cool, not forgetting his move from Don't Wanna cry hehe. 🤣 I got to know Seventeen because of watching this back in 2019, all thanks to MingHao. Research up on him and came to Seventeen, first song I heard was Don't wanna cry & I got hooked to that song. From there onwards, I started to know more about the group, got hit by Vernon's visual 😆 the other talented 12 members, and finally all thanks to Covid, I started watching their other MVs, Variety Shows and now I'm a proud carat. Wanna praise MingHao really, throughout the show though sometimes he's not always around, probably due to his schedules at Korea. But you can always see that he makes the effort to check on the trainees when he can, teaching them step by step and even till late at night. I remember he once teaches a trainee (Wang Jia Yi) at 5am during the first test of the theme song, when he saw that the trainee was still practicing alone so late. In the end thanks to him & the trainee's hardwork, even though he didn't move up to A class, but passed the test and stay in B class. MingHao being so strict yet heart warming, really shows he have such a nice personality, looking at how he nickpick the angle of the hands and legs all, shows why seventeen is the master of synchronisation in 3rd Gen KPop. Carats know that he doesn't have it easy in Korea, esp during debut days, when he's not fluent in Korean, and in the show one fine day in Japan, he mentioned how his pillow know most of his tears during trainee days. He knows exactly how the trainees felt, and is always there for them too, they need more teachers like him for the idol industry in China. 💎💎
I honestly loved watching YouthWithYou (mainly for minghao this season 😂) because you could see how much he saw himself and his members in these boys. He knows how to encourage them in a way and know how it feels to want this so so badly. I feel like especially doing it in his home country made it that much more special. He wanted to mentor them as much as he could. IMAGINE you get to now tell people you DANCE ON STAGE with Minghao… like!!!! I think he also taught them Highlight perfectly. For not having MONTHS to prepare and all the big movements. Its just a beautiful stage. Im really curious tho what SVT thought of this cover/rendition 😂😂😂

From there onwards, I started to know more about the group, got hit by Vernon's visual 😆 the other talented 12 members, and finally all thanks to Covid, I started watching their other MVs, Variety Shows and now I'm a proud carat.
Wanna praise MingHao really, throughout the show though sometimes he's not always around, probably due to his schedules at Korea. But you can always see that he makes the effort to check on the trainees when he can, teaching them step by step and even till late at night. I remember he once teaches a trainee (Wang Jia Yi) at 5am during the first test of the theme song, when he saw that the trainee was still practicing alone so late. In the end thanks to him & the trainee's hardwork, even though he didn't move up to A class, but passed the test and stay in B class. MingHao being so strict yet heart warming, really shows he have such a nice personality, looking at how he nickpick the angle of the hands and legs all, shows why seventeen is the master of synchronisation in 3rd Gen KPop.
Carats know that he doesn't have it easy in Korea, esp during debut days, when he's not fluent in Korean, and in the show one fine day in Japan, he mentioned how his pillow know most of his tears during trainee days. He knows exactly how the trainees felt, and is always there for them too, they need more teachers like him for the idol industry in China. 💎💎

I honestly loved watching YouthWithYou (mainly for minghao this season 😂) because you could see how much he saw himself and his members in these boys. He knows how to encourage them in a way and know how it feels to want this so so badly. I feel like especially doing it in his home country made it that much more special. He wanted to mentor them as much as he could. IMAGINE you get to now tell people you DANCE ON STAGE with Minghao… like!!!! I think he also taught them Highlight perfectly. For not having MONTHS to prepare and all the big movements. Its just a beautiful stage. Im really curious tho what SVT thought of this cover/rendition 😂😂😂
