Keadehara Kazuha means “a thousand maple leaves”, the maple leaf is the symbol of his clan, Kaedehara. (We know how Inazuma people live according to their clan). The Kaedehara Clan was a noble samurai clan of notable fame in Inazuma. By the time Kazuha was born, the clan was on the verge of collapse, having almost no fortunes to inherit when the time came. Eventually, their house was repossessed by the authorities and the last attendant was dismissed. After the Clan fell, Kazuha took this as an opponturnity to relieve himself of nobility and became a wandering Samurai (a Ronin). In the video where he was caught by the Vision Hunters, and he uses his technique, they are startled to see a Maple Leaf, because that is the sign of a skilled Samurai Clan which had fallen. In other words, when they saw the Maple Leaf, they knew they had run into an opponent they could not match at all.
(i didnt understand this and had to search it so i thought of explaining it to anyone who might be confused)
So Kazuha is the sole survivor of Kaedehara Clan?
@Muhammad Afzar surviver would imply the clan got killed off which im not sure is the case since his story lines dont mention other deaths than his friend. I assumed that the clan naturally lost favor and prestige with time and fell maybe it was monetary reasons. I never found specifics on how it happened, though, so I guess its open to interpretation. As far as we know, Kazuha is the only one of the Kaedehara clan though so anything goes.

at 1:09 when kazuha said "if only you could make one exception...things could have been easier for you", i like to think he was referring to his friend rather than himself (though it is more logical that he was referring to himself). his friend lost his life while fighting against the vision hunt decree, hence kazuha became even more vengeful/ brutal towards vision hunters. as such, "things could have been easier" for the vision hunters if they didn't cause the death of his friend.
