Eclipse is half of him oldself, and half of Solar. Eclipse isn't dully eclipse. Yes, he has his memories. Yes he has his personality to some extent. But, he listens , he asks questions, he hasnt actively brought harm to anyone.
He is Eclipse but... He's also Solar. Solars code was used to make him. A part of Solar still exists inside of Eclipse just enough to affect him and change his personality just slightly.
I think it was Ruin who even said those same exact things; that unlike the old Eclipse of their world, Solar instead asked questions, and listened, and didn't actively bring harm to anyone as a result. That's definitely an interesting point to bring back around.

So I usually never comment on these videos but something I’ve always enjoyed about this Eclipse and his model, is how his eyes move around when he talks or moves. Because the moment Earth looked at him, called him out straightaway and apologized to him for what he’d been put through, his eyes for a moment looked like they were glancing around. Like he was really thinking and taking in what she said before he spoke. I dunno, I’ve always found that really cool!!
Wait, Eclipse is saying he'll be going so he's not bothered with drama right, yet he seemed annoyed when Earth said she'd trade ruin. Almost as if he kinda is planning to maybe sacrifice himself so he can finally be free and the others get Solar back? We definitely saw good in him on this episode so it may be a possibility!!!

Eclipse I know what it's like to be misunderstood and for people to not understand about what they done to you. They even deny it, how they tortured you. I know you never meant to actually 'hurt' anyone. You..just wanted them to see you were in pain and alone. You didn't know how to approach them (you were scared they would hurt you more).
And it's sad from the first day you were born they immediately tried to kill you.. And they ask WHY you are like this..
I don't care what anyone thinks when I say this. He needs this.
Eclipse you deserve to be loved even if you feel like you're a monster. You are NOT. You were hurting. You are a damaged soul/robot. That just snapped from being hurt all the time. Earth talking all cute to one of Sun's cats has me gushing so much, I talk that way too to my cat occasionally lol. (Monty also appearing at the end to get wasted snd watch Bluey with Earth has me laughing, glad you're so honesty lol)
Cuteness aside though, did not at all expect Eclipse to Outright ask for a Therapy session. That threw me in for a loop, like whoa. Never thought this day would come but.. here he is.
The fact he realizes what kind of person he is and questions why Earth is nice to him still really says a lot, he's come a long way from how he used to be it seems. I mean it's not much, he's still jerkish, but he has stopped insulting Earth for no reason so that's good. Makes sense he also plans on leaving after he gets Solar back for everyone, ironic almost.. Solar from another dimension left his place to be with everyone here. While Eclipse will be leaving everyone to stay away from them.
Honestly I think Earth handles Eclipse really well, I don't think she's at all weird for not hating him, he has done a lot of horrible things.. but he only did it because of the fact he was left behind. But he's changing now, it's like she said before to him so long ago.. "Actions speak louder than words." And he's certainly showing his change through action.

This kinda helped me feel a bit better. Yesterday we had to put one of our cats to sleep, and since Eclipse is one if my favorites, it was very nice seeing him actually reach out for help, and getting Earth's opinion on some things with Solar. And we know Solar still exists in that little afterlife place. Non-canon or canon (honestly think it is at least somewhat canon), he is there, so he can be brought back.
I am so glad to see Eclipse trying to gradually break down some of his walls. I'm going to be upset when he leaves though, if we never see him again. He has made so much more progress than any of his past versions, and I do have to say i am proud of him for that. I am also glad Earth still chose not to hate him even after he spewed out the things his past selves did.

aw, wow; Eclipse _really_ reminds me of myself when he's asking Earth why she would help him.... It can be hard to realize that the things you're repeatedly called make you truly feel as if it's how you are; even if it's not fully true or justified. Especially when the reason it got bad in the first place is because of being treated unfairly.
I'm so glad he's finally receiving genuine kindness. Everyone else treats/ speaks to Eclipse harshly & with suspicion, even when he's done nothing wrong. You could be actively doing good/ working hard on self-improvement, and get told you're not trying even when you ARE; and end up actually thinking it's true until someone reasonable says "tf? of course you're trying?! You've never even given up on trying." enough times to help you learn to remind yourself of that & possibly even communicate that the other person hurt you _(to those who need that, google DEARMAN);_ ANNNDDD if I keep talking this comment will literally turn into more therapy skills lmao
but anyways; I really hope Eclipse can find a peaceful place to call home. Or at least somewhere he feels okay being. I'd imagine in his situation it could be pretty difficult to see your own worth. It's pretty clear he doesn't even let himself acknowledge that he's his own person & matters at all.. Gods my heart hurts for him.
Eclipse is gonna die. He's gonna sacrifice himself to bring Solar back, I can see it.
It feels like he's making amends and saying goodbye in his own way. He wants to be free, he was supposed to die, yet he was brought back yet again. He's tired of dying and coming back. He wants to rest and be done with all this drama and hurt. He's done hurting people around him, he's done being hurt.
Help it makes sense and there is so much drama and emotional things going on-but naurr Clipsy😭😭
Earth is me when it come to Eclipse I don't except a redemption just a silent agreement of being neutral in his own way and Earth was the only one the hasn't hurt or mock him in the past since she enter Sun & Moon's lives, while Lunar betray his trust or fear him went they hang out and listen to Moon to not trust him.🤔🤷
plus you can't really hate someone when they , themself haven't physically hurt or mentally personally or constantly to you

I'm sorry, but if it were ever possible and if Eclipse would somehow agree to it, I would give him a nice hug without hesitation. Sure, he's done horrible things, tortured Sun and Moon, and even killed Lunar, but with him recognizing it and calling himself negative things like a "monster" just breaks my heart

Eclipse actually has to be one of my favorite characters next to lunar, one thing I remember about solar is when he said “we’re gonna glam you up, honey” 🤣🤣
But I’m happy to see Eclipse finally opening up to people and not being a gruff or mean person who only cared about destroying the world or getting the star and all that crap 😅

A year ago I wouldn't have forgiven Eclipse for what he's done, in fact I would have rather him being dismantled and forgotten from the whole fandom, but now watching this and it's making my emotions for him all messed up (And not like that you sickos) because now I'm rooting for Eclipse to get a redemption arc.
