Family Vacation to Walt Disney World! Rylie Kate and Stiles go on there first plane ride and we visit our first park of the trip!
Hey guys! A few weeks ago Rylie Kate and Stiles went on their first plane ride EVER! We got up super early and headed to the airport to check in and get through security. We boarded our plane at 8:30am and took off! The plane flight to Orlando was super smooth!
Once we landed in Orlando, we made our way to check in at The Sunshine Flyer bus that took us to our resort. We hopped on the bus when they called our resort name and rode for about 30 minutes. We arrived at our resort, Coronado Springs, and went to explore. We got in the pool and then went to Disney Springs to eat at T-Rex.
We got some sleep and headed to our first park! Rylie Kate and Stiles loved seeing the Skyliner buckets going over them as we walked to the Hollywood Studios entrance. There are always bubbles coming from somewhere and RK and Stiles always love seeing the bubbles. This is Stiles first time going to Disney so we are super excited to watch him experience the magic with his sister. We had a reservation in Galaxy’s Edge for Rylie Kate to make a droid so we headed that way first.
When we got to Galaxy’s Edge we walked right in to create a droid. Rylie Kate decided she wanted to make her own BB-8. Only one person can accompany the builder, so mom went with her to pick the pieces. Rylie Kate walked over to the conveyer belt and grabbed her pieces off of the belt. Then mom swapped with dad for the building. Rylie Kate and dad built a BB-8 and named it Bubbles!
After she finished building Bubbles, we walked out and ran into Darth Vader and Stormtroopers. We got out of there and headed to Woody’s Lunch Box for lunch! Once we finish lunch, we head to Slinky Dog. Right as we get to the front it closes. We were so bummed but headed over to Toy Story Mania. This was Stiles first ride ever at Disney! He loved looking around while Rylie Kate and daddy were racking up points at each station!
By the time we got done at Toy Story Mania, Toy Story land was pumping with a ton of people so we decided to make our way to see some Disney Junior friends! More bubbles!! Bubble wands are literally everywhere! Rylie Kate met Vampirina, Fancy Nancy, and Doc McStuffins! Stiles observed from his seat, he is more of a Donald Duck fan!! Once we got some pictures, we headed into the Disney Junior Play and Dance Party where we got to see Vampirina and Doc McStuffins again, plus some other friends! We had a lightning lane for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad but we when scanned in, it shut down for technical issues too. SOOOOO off we went to get some ice cream treats. We traded our lighting lane for Frozen Sing Along and got great seats right in the center front! We loved the show and Rylie Kate and Stiles loved the SNOW!!
Once we said bye-bye to Elsa, Anna, and their friends we went to see Olaf sunbathing on a beach! He is such a silly snowman!! Then we were off to see Lightning McQueen! Then our camera died! We had a great first day and can’t wait for you to see the rest of our trip (where we actually remembered to charge all of the camera batteries) haha
