    This has been like a video bible as I continue to come back to watch and listen to learn the game. In particular I like that you announce all the numbers rolled, so even today while on the go I've been listening and I think I know the game just barely well enough that I can visualize at least most of what's going on when you call out each number rolled step-by-step.

    Hey Chris, you got the stunned/hurt resolution correct. Well done my friend

    Thank you for having this video up. This is just what the doctor ordered. I get a game to the desktop and get too excited to turn on the camera and play it, and I went at this game like gangbusters a little earlier, throwing all the dice at once and trying to figure out too much all at once - as I've seen some other players of the game do and fair play to them if they can do it - but I like this slower, more measured approach. This is what I should be doing for a while at least until I get the hang of it more. Thanks again!!

      You are welcome. This game does take some time to wrap the old gray matter around. But there is a lot of thought put into the mechanics. A really deep game.

    Hi Chris. This is a good fight. 10th round, can't wait. It's close. If it's a decision, I give it to Hagler because of knockdown. Great job Chris. You are excellent in helping other people learn.

    Blur Blur Blur...seems both fighters can't see out of either eye

    When do you check the defense? Didn't seem like many defensive checks.

      I do make some mistakes trying to keep up the pace for videos. You generally make checks after the offensive roll, as long as it is not a toe-to-toe segment. In that case, no defense, no counters. Thanks for watching the video.

    GJ but just ust a few things I want to point out (I don't own the game or know the rules mind you)
    0 and 00 = a roll of 100 When rolling 2 Percentile die
    All 3 Judges have Fighter A or B winning = Unanimous Decision
    1 Judge has a Draw and 2 others have Fighter B winning it = Majority Decision
    1 Judge has Fighter A winning and 2 have Fighter B winning = Split Decision
    1 Judge Has Fighter A winning, 1 Judge Has a Draw, 1 Judge has fighter B winning = Draw
    1 Judge has Fighter A or B winning and 2 have it a Draw = Majority Draw
    All 3 Judges have it a Draw = Unanimous Draw
    Also Technical Decisions, DQ's and No Contests as well, but not covering those.
    Ref, Doctor or Corner stop the fight = TKO
    If a Fighter can not get to his feet before the count of 10 after a knockdown = KO
    If you are Sugar Ray Robinson then you = GOAT =)
    Be Safe and keep gaming
    John

    I got stuck today on the scoring component with the red and blue in parentheses

      Hi Chris, I went to the Delphi forum and placed the question on that I was just confused on the blue and red in parentheses on the judges scoring. I was wondering if it was just for that specific row or the column. That is a good video

    • @Demy1970
      @Demy1970 Год назад +1

      Nice work with the video, you could make a bunch of these and still have lots of questions. I just started it looks like the tough parts are the 1d20 rolls on KO and in what order but I like the way you describe the toe to toe,

    • @ChristopherWalrath
      @ChristopherWalrath  Год назад

      You look in the column indicated by the scoring. You then roll the d20 and the scoring is given. Take into account any foul penalties to further reduce the scoring. But the round winner must score ten. Ie. If the red boxer won 10-9 with one judge but was penalized one point for a foul, then it would be a 10-10 draw.

      Thanks Chris, i am going to play later on but much slower pace, so if you are rolling for red fighter you look in that column and roll the die
