Had no idea so much can be done with these two types of paper. Dry embossing on vellum really gives it a WOW look. Thank you so much for the great tutorial and the effort & patience you put into your presentations for all of us.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for visiting this video Lillian!! Did you know I am live the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Monday, and the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 8pm ET.
Oh, Lisa, an EXCELLENT video! I LOVE IT & found it to be so very helpful! I really never even thought to emboss on the acetate but such a pretty look! Using the DELICATA ink to stamp n’ then emboss w/powder turned out to be GORGEOUS! And I ALWAYS appreciate the reminders on “which ink is best” for direct stamping on either vellum or acetate! Thank you so much for sharing this VERY HELPFUL video with us! HAPPY STAMPIN’, TIPPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! Have a LOVELY day! :-)
You are welcome, Lisa! Now, will we (maybe??) see a project or two done w/the embossed vellum n’ acetate???!!! Sure hope so! Again, thank you for these great tips!
Great info on these products! Though, I would say Vellum is usually described as "translucent", not opaque. While denotatively "opaque" applies to anything that isn't transparent, the connotation is that it cannot be seen through at all. Vellum, however, allows light to pass through and softens images without completely obscuring them. Keep up the great work and thank you for sharing! 😊
Oh, Ferdi, the Stylish Scroll embossing folder is wonderful. The design works so well with so many different types of stamps. You won't be disappointed with your purchase, I promise!
Lisa, learned a lot from your video as always. Liked particularly your tips for working with acetate. Would there be anything different when using the mercury glass acetate?
Hi MaryEllen! Glad to read this video was helpful. As for the Mercury Glass Acetate, no, the same steps apply. However, I will caution you since the acetate already has a pattern/finish to it so heat or embossing it might 'muddy' the appearance of one or the other. Hope that helps.
Antonide use Stazon Ink and be careful that the ink dries. If you click show more under the description in the video there is a link for a video to stamp on Acetate. You may need professional printing for a menu. Thank you so much for watching!
Happy to have you watch today! I use my IPhone to film that is hooked on a PCV pipe my husband made for me that is attached to the wall. Yes, I can see my hands. Hope this helps!

with the acetate, create a frame border and sandwich the acetate between the frame border and the card base.
Great idea, Rita! Thanks for sharing that with us!
Is there a front and backside
Linda it does not matter which side for vellum.
Good to know :-)
