More stunners. Please help me at the 3:35 mark. I think that you called the plant M. spinosissima. I have one, but the spines are not even pink, much less red. Is this just an age issue? Mine is pretty young. Hopefully it will get red next grow season. Thanks.
Thats fantastic you have a Mammillaria spinossisima too Bill :-D yes the good news is the spines will go redder as the cactus matures, I have a couple of seedlings of this spinossisima and they are about an inch high but the spines are still all green, I lost my very old spinossisima a couple of years ago but when I bought that one the spines were all white, but over the years the crown went red and then the whole cactus spines went red, thanks so much Bill for your wonderful Friendship and amazing comment and support and for watching and sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a brilliant New Year ahead XXXXX
What an awesome collection lyn 😍 I wish I would get mine vast like yours And lastly should I over winter my pups and baby cactus , I have a 1 year old rainbow burst cactus baby which still looks like a tiny bulb , it looks like it was actively growing even when I started over wintering it with the other cactus , should I water my baby's or should I keep them dry , (note : the weather here goes down upto 23c I'm from South India we don't have winter we have only cool weather ). Thank you lyn for your amazing work and time 💝🙏
