I was a vegan for 15 years, always sick and started losing my hair. Now i am 10 years carnivore and i feel amazing. I got ripped at 60 years old, lost all of my excess fat i gained from eating broccoli. I got my job back as a model that i had to quit because of my hair. All of my autoimmune diseases, cancer and stroke went away, seemingly over night after eating some meat. It's like a miracle. Even my wife that passed away got revived and we are back together. Carnivore diet just changed my life and i couldn't be more happy.
I started carnivore on March 6th, for two reasons. #1, I was going on a cruise in two months and wanted to lose 6 lbs so the clothes I wanted to wear would fit better. (I am short, 5'1", and was about 40 lbs overweight. Six lbs as a short person can make a big difference!). The second reason is that I realized I was probably addicted to chocolate. I used to eat one square of dark chocolate every night after dinner, but was eating more and more. I was probably eating a thousand calories of dark chocolate every night, and thought I MUST stop! I had three 8 oz steaks in my freezer left from when in-laws were visiting, and ate those the first three nights. The chocolate - carb cravings were GONE from about the first night! It would cross my mind, but I would think, no, I really dont want any right now. And it has been pretty easy to say no ever since. I have lost 22 lbs total, hit a couple of plateaus along the way where the weight loss would stop for a couple of weeks. But then the weight starts to come off again. I am 77, down to 130 lbs, and have not weighed that since about 1995!
@@JL-st5sb this is great news! Good for you for being open to trying something new and committing to the process. Change is hard. But a powerful vision will get you there.
Cruciferous veggies are definitely foods to be avoided with THYROID issues! Please research or talk to a dietition prior to starting a new food program. Some medications are affected by foods.

Vegan is one I never did. You should audition for a reality TV show with that wild story 😉

I learned in working with my mom that her pharmacist knew more than her doctor on medications and contraindications.
