Fun fact: because of child labor laws, kid actors under a certain age can only be on screen for about 2 hours at a time before they’re given a mandatory break, so to get around this a lot of studios use twins for little kids so they can switch on and off every couple of hours. The twins in this episode met up with Aaron Paul in a fundraiser years later, and despite being grown men, he recognized them immediately. There’s a cute video of it on youtube 😊
Jesse is my favorite character in this show and one of favorites in tv, i love him so much and this episode really showed that jesse have a really good heart🥹❤️ Great reaction 😍
I was a social worker and became an attorney and did a lot of ad litem work and then criminal defense.... That situation was reminiscent of Many Many I have seen in my work.... Very sad, very tough.
What I love most about this episode is it provides context. It's easy to pretend Walt and Jesse cooking meth is a victimless crime. This episode forces you to see one of their victims.
@3:08 Skinny 'Straight-up Savage' Pete. Poor 🐞 didn't stand a chance. Excellent juxtaposition of the altruism of Jesse vs. the callousness of the doods he associates with.
3 years after the show ended, Vince Gilligan did an interview where he explained exactly what happened with Walt, the Schwartzes, and Gray Matter because viewers were still confused about the finer details and who was the bad guy. I'd advise against Googling that interview since it's full of spoilers, but if you rewatch the scene where Walt and Gretchen are arguing and put it together with what you know about Walt's character and everything at Elliott's birthday party, you could probably figure out exactly what happened, or at least get in the ballpark. Great reaction as always!
@@EmmyReacts something to think about, seeing the way Walt runs his drug business, was he that much of a pain in the ass to work with at Gray Matter, or did that come after the cancer diagnosis/drug-running/murdering?
this is a hard to watch Episode, I just rewatched the whole series and it is soo good, the Charakter writings or how creative they were with the camera or transitions 👍👍👍👍😃
This episode is such a banger I know you probably want requests through your patreon but I think after watching GOT and this show you might want a good pallet cleanser with a very high quality show that isn't so dark. Have you considered Avatar: The Last Airbender? It's my personal favorite show I even rank it higher than breaking bad!
Not trying to be rude or anything, and genuinely meaning this as constructive criticism, but sometimes you can spend a few seconds to take a breath to take in the movie and not comment on it. Between the last upload and this, you are talking over significant parts, and it really takes away from the quality if the video. Perhaps you are rewatching the episode later to catch the parts you missed(or watching it before the commentary video), but seeing you constantly talk over things and then ask questions later on that were clearly covered while you are talking is a little rough. Just an honest opinion, and I hope you don't take this the wrong way.

Omg that’s so sweet - I’ll have to check that video out!!
Jesse’s arc is my favorite in any work of fiction. Such a masterfully written and acted character
19:13 fallacies! fallacies fallacies!!
Hahaha!! My mind went there too!
I don’t think the mail will be addressed to “Spooge and Skank” 😜

I really love him so far! Even if he is technically doing bad things 😂 he has a good heart

I think we can all relate with loving Jesse and being annoyed with Walt 😂
This is the turning point of the series.
"That's your excuse? I abandoned you, so that gives you the right to pursue your career???!!!?!!?!?!!"
-Walter White, Asshole
The saddest episode and hardest to watch because of the child

Peekaboo: Showing Walt & Jesse's true face

Ooh I’ll definitely have to go back and look for that interview once I’m done with the show!

Yes Jesse has the best character in the show even though he will make you a little mad in season 3 but it won't be for long lol
❤❤❤
