Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Preachers should preach from the heart without notes, and only promote Jesus Christ and the Word of God. We should never promote technology. The internet has destroyed the lives of thousands of men and churches.
You're assuming there's no Spirit-filled heart behind the effort to produce the notes. And, btw, the printed Bible you hold in your hands is "technology". Unless you'd prefer we preach from scrolls. (But that's its own form of technology, too.)
@@palmettohorn last point: the Apostle Paul said, I can eat anything, but if food offered to idols causes my brother to stumble, then I won't eat it for my brother's sake. Enjoy!
@@tsm7964 First of all, you're assuming I was referring to the internet -- I wasn't. Not a small category error/quantum over generalization w/your cocaine/internet comparison, brother. Btw, you just used the internet to access a RUclips video about an iPad and then comment about it (which is interesting). Begs the question, if (all?) the internet is like cocaine, why are you using it? Also, one can prepare notes to take into the pulpit w/o using the internet. The vast majority that whenever they do use it do so, not to "get sermons", but, to access quotes, news items, etc., for illustrations. The iPad is wonderful tool. My current iPad displays text far better than paper and ink, especially in a poorly lit room.
May the Lord bless you brother. I belong to the RPCI and this would blow their mind using this! I take notes on this on the Sabbath
Ken, thank you for sharing. Have you considered copying and pasting your scripture text into your manuscript to keep from having to switch programs?

@@palmettohorn The internet has destroyed thousands of marriages. Rattlesnakes should not be allowed in church.
@@palmettohorn If the internet is okay, why not bring cocaine to church too? Let's see how well our congregations can handle temptations.
