For everyone still confused as to why they don't have this feature: Roblox releases voice chat in waves. Every now and then, they choose a large group of people to give voice chat to. You just have to wait until you're part of the group that gets chosen. (There's no way to get chosen, you really do just have to wait your turn.)
edit: Answers to some frequently asked questions:
The update makes it so you don't have to have your age verified. Once you get the update, it will show up in your privacy settings.
If it says it's temporarily disabled, you have to wait a few days while roblox verifies your account history. I've never been banned, so I got my VC within a couple of days.
The update is only in the USA, as far as I'm aware.
To get VC you HAVE to verify your phone number and email, and your account has to be 13+.
Edit 2: GUYS THIS UPDATE MAKES IT SO YOU DO N O T NEED AN ID FOR AGE VERIFICATION. IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE USA, YOU DO NEED TO HAVE AN ID.
Edit 3: yall I’m just sharing what I know. If you still don’t have it, I’m sorry, but I can’t do anything about it. Maybe email roblox. I’ve seen some people say that works.

@@AshEquineYT at the moment, it’s only in the USA, but it should come out to other countries at some point. It’s not even out for all of the USA, so it might take a while

I can confirm, it randomly gave me a pop up that said I can enable voice chat, I tried this months ago but it finally worked

If your lucky, you could've gotten it faster than others, but some have had to wait weeks/months to actually get VC, not sure if it's either because of too much players or just roblox being just roblox..

I’m a bit confused..if your account has the “13+” does that mean Roblox thinks your under thirteen or older? And if your older how do you make is so that Roblox thinks you older than thirteen? Sorry you might get confused with this comment but we’re in the same boat
Hey! I still don't have the beta feature and honestly I've been waiting for it for a while. Is there a reason to why I haven't gotten the update yet? I also do have my phone number and email verified. And I'm well aware that I'm aged enough to have vc.
You simply just have to keep waiting.
It takes people sometimes months for the process to go through.
Unfortunately, if u dont live in the US (dont worry - i dont either) u will not get this feature. In other countries such as Australia or Brazil, the only way to get vc is to use an ID

@@MaksS-kv1bo Yes, in Canada the update works. However, if you live there, the chances of being selected are still extremely low and most people have to wait several years (or up to a year if they're really lucky)

bro i still dont know why roblox requires you to use a DRIVERS LICENSE to verify that you are over 13. A 14 year old isnt going to have a drivers license on them

most of these comments are bs. you have to verify your email and phone number then try to join a voice chat game. it will come up with the option "you need to enable voice on roblox" and click accept, this is how it happened for me and my best friend.💞

best way to get voice chat (working): u need 2 phones then search for id card in phone then scan the id card with ur phone and done ez this might not work sometimes
