Barge cement is a better glue for shoes than hot glue. It's what the shoe repair industry uses.

@@SRenaDTML YW! I just blinged my Teva sandals with some of that rhinestone bling tape. Hot glue would have made a mess of it for sure. Barge cement is expensive and ultra-sticky, but it's flexible and it stays stuck. Won't burn you either.

Love this idea! Making ugly but comfortable sandals soft and cute! But was curious if hot glue would hold up?
A lot of people use hot glue on all sorts of stuff cause it’s simple, but for me? When I put the time into finally making something I’m so bummed when it falls apart. But love this video! I like how you get through it so clearly and easy to follow process
