My dawg, I’m 20 years old & mexican , grinding hard to get out the hood, I can’t be 30 with nothing to show for so i smoke weed on my youtube channel 😮😮
I’d agree to focus more on floor loot, it I think it’s a long shot cause it would most likely cut into their in game purchases if it’s not possible or too difficult to bring those blueprints into warzone
I agree with Tim about loadouts. it gets boring. they're definitely trying something different, and should try maybe a season without loadies at all. then adjust from there. add an LTM with loadouts to see what has better flow.
Let's be honest here, the average cod/warzone fan wants loadouts because they want to be able to use the meta op crutch weapons so they can get kills easily without really having to think much. Because 9-5 Joe wants to be able to hop on after work and get maximum gratification from playing a video game while giving the absolute minimum amount of effort to do so. And many content creators want loadouts because loadouts provide endless amounts of content they can potentially use for their channels that they can feed to 9-5 joe moving forward. (not trying to hate on content creators btw)
100% agree with loadouts. They totally defeat the purpose of ground loot, and they essentially create the 'meta' that everyone pretends to hate. Luck should be a deciding factor in BR titles, it's half the fun, it promotes aggressive moves if you don't get good loot, it keeps people on the ground moving about the map, etc.
Why would I want a game that takes a half hour for a full match to be decided by luck? I want to win or lose based on skill, not because they happened to find a 3-plate satchel or because I found a better gun on the ground. Doesn't sound fun at all and that's why I preferred WZ over other BR titles. I agree that they needed to change things up a bit for the casual players to have a better chance but man it seems like they just went way too far in that direction.
@@majorleaguegains5597 it takes much much more skill to be successful in a more traditional BR. So you can talk about the “casual” players, when in reality, the more skilled you are, the less lucky a BR will feel and the less it will negatively affect you.
@@keyton1928 obviously if you're skilled you're more likely to survive, thought that was obvious lmao, doesn't change the fact that the reason behind making the game slower paced and revolve more around randomness is to close the skill gap
Having a META didn't kill warzone. The reason why people hated the meta was because of how long it took to level up the guns. If it was easier to level up guns and not have so many useless attachments, then people wouldn't hate it so much. The 3 things that killed warzone was the cheaters, terrible new map that didn't work half the time on console and how long it took to level up new guns. That's what pushed casual players away from the game
Loadouts in WZ2 would be a major loss. Loadouts only allow jackasses to use the OP gun of the week. UGM, MG82, DMR, AUG, akimbo Snake Shot, R09 Dragon’s Breath, FFAR, Mac, etc. The ONLY way loadouts are acceptable is if they actually put in the time to fully balance guns BEFORE they get released. Blackout was amazing and I was hoping and praying that loadouts would be completely gone and attachments would be back on the ground in WZ2.
Love Tim’s take on the loadouts. I like the idea that you can get your loadout guns for a hefty cost at a buy station. Still keeping the feature in, but not so aggressive like the current WZ. They also need to change the box inventory system. Love the idea of “doubling up” on specific ammo and plates.
They should release two versions, basically two game modes. The old “warzone” style just updated for 2.0 and a new “BR” style with its current mechanics. People like options.
No. You dont want to divide the player base and make each game mode have significantly less players. Same reason why they wouldnt readd verdansk after the community outrage over Caldera.
Going back to looking at gameplay from the original warzone, it’s actually crazy to see how unrealistic the recoil pattern on guns is compared to warzone 2… every gun used to be a straight laser beam
I definitely think making loadout harder to get is good, making it so it’s exciting to get ground loot, tired of people running around with meta only guns, all the people salty about not getting their loady are those players who rely on meta guns to carry them, I said it.
Probably not relying on meta guns all the time but people sure have their favorite weapons and camos they’ve grinded to get and I’m sure would love to use em in game
I really can't be bothered with looting attachments etc. Don't want to be stood there pissing about choosing between which underbarrel is better to put on my floor loot pistol.
As is, if you aren’t up to date on the meta loadouts, then WarZone is extremely unaccessible for casual gamers. I like the idea of “high stakes” loadouts at strongholds. If you want your desired set-ups, you have to fight for them. Otherwise, ground loot needs to be viable
I think loadouts will be back once Activision sees the bundle sales dip. If loadouts aren’t a standard like WZ1 then I don’t think people will be spending $20 on a blueprint that they MIGHT be able to use in WZ2. You can still get your loadout gun in WZ2 but you will need to buy it at the buy station for a lot of $$. The looting needs to be fixed in WZ2 too.
Feel like instead of a loadout, maybe an attachment crate where you can add/edit the attachments for the ground loot gun you find would make sense the way they're going with warzone 2, there is way too many attachments to input them as ground loot
Facts, people will try it and then complain as all they needed was a better map than Caldera. We don't need a brand new game..if only the devs listened to their core audience lol
I feel like they won't keep loadouts away, imagine how much money they make from people buying blueprints, and skins. I just don't see it staying away it's a money maker.
What guns do people even think you would have in your load outs? Not the vanguard guns or MW guns or Cold War guns… that’s why there’s no load outs cuz there’s no foundation to get load outs from. Warzone 2 is a different game because the whole thing that made warzone warzone was how it brought together guns from all the other COD’s. Without the guns from the other games warzone 2 basically lost its essence.
You can still get your custom guns at buy stations and I strongly doubt the prices were final. Almost guarantee the only real change will be not being able to get perks when it comes to loadouts.
I personally dont like farming/leveling a new meta loadout every season, or whenever they feel like buffing a specific gun. It is such a waste of time. Everyone should be able to pick up the best gun in a BR, either if they upgrade the gun they found on the ground, or by being lucky and finding a great fun from the start.
Arn't they leaving millions of dollars on the table not doing Loadouts? People constantly buy new gun blueprints in current warzone, why would you buy a blueprint in the store if there are no loadouts in WZ 2?
Honestly my take is I feel like WZ2 should remove loadouts and instead add crafters . Something akin to what fortnite has . And in those crafters you can buy attachments for the ground loot guns that you find . Would change the dynamic of the game . Add about 3 crafters per POI and scatter a few in the wilderness . Would always make you think twice on what to spend your hard earned cash .

No loadouts evens the playing field. OG warzone used to be fine with loadouts cause people could still experiment on their own and all, but then TikTok users started pushing out these classes and then it was so rare to find someone not using the "meta." I personally love the idea of no loadouts
I agree with Tim but removing loadouts removes the need to purchase future titles to level up guns as well reduces the amount of blueprints being purchased. I would prefer no loadouts personally but can't see them killing that cashcow
I made a snarky comment that after two seconds of checking I proved myself wrong about. So all ima say is fuck yeah love you Tim and shamefully walk away.
i think when wz2 gets released it will split wz1's playerbase in half, the people who like wz1 before cold war or vanguard will move on to wz2 along with some tryhards and the other half are staying in wz1 cuz of their broken weapons they spent so much time one instead of touching grass
The looting system isn't going to change because they're making you prioritize your loot with a backpack system, if you auto picked up everything you would run out of slots and be screwed
