@@spielermediaproductions it was amazing, beautiful winter weather. I hiked bridal wreath falls and, intend to hike more trails in the park as I’ve decided to winter in tombstone. Much appreciated.
Your channel is too underrated, man! You’re putting out content of the same quality as channels with 100k subs and more. Keep grinding and you’ll get there🤙🏻
That is awesome! I can only name the one, but that is so cool. I really loved the ecosystem and how diverse it was. I also loved that you could drive up 9000 feet and be in dense forest. I don't know if I could live there forever, but I will definitely be back! Thanks for your feedback!
The odd looking saguaro with the "broccoli" top is a crested saguaro. It happens about 1 in 20,000 saguaros that this odd growth occurs. There are many variations in the shape of the crests. This one is at the edge of a wash on Garwood Trail. The cholla segment that attached to your shoe on the hike is the reason to take along a Leatherman or something similar so you can use the needle nose pliers to remove the thorns.
Can you get a lifetime pass if you are not a senior? What if someone tripped and fell and landed on one of those cactus that would be painful. Beautiful scenery. Yes it is a snail.
As far as I know, that is the only way other than a military connection which is our situation. And good to know that you agree that it is a snail lol!
If I am not mistaken, I believe the only camping is backcountry style camping. I am not aware of any traditional type campgrounds. But I could be wrong.
Nice video! Give me a shout if you ever want to hit up the Loma Alta trailhead one day. I just moved to a mile away and I’ve been exploring the Rincons.
That is awesome Charlie! Unfortunately, I'm a digital nomad and I never stay in a location for very long. I just left Tucson last week and I don't know when I will be back. But I will definitely keep you in mind if I ever do! I appreciate you reaching out.
I’ll be there in one week, nice video, thanks.
How did the trip go??

Absolutely! Glad to hear it is going well. I would go back for the winter.

I really appreciate that Will. Thank you so much for the kind words. I'm here for the grind lol. Don't worry.
I grew up out there, and can still name every cactus you filmed. Moved many years ago, but I still love the desert. Thanks for sharing

1 in 20k!! That's crazy. I made this video 2 and a half years ago, it is cool to learn this info as well as reminisce lol. Thanks for sharing
